I got clean eatz for most meals for a 6-week period when cooking wasn't an option, and it was super helpful. I mainly go here for produce since it tends to be cheaper than market basket. Plus the produce isn't low quality, it's pretty consistently good. Pantry items are more on par with market basket brand prices. If you have the time (but not the money) it's worth it to price compare items with MB. I've tried some Aldi brands, such as their granola, bread and vegan ice cream and really enjoyed them. Yeah it's not the greatest ambience, there's no baskets, you have to use a quarter to retrieve a cart, and you have to pay for bags if you didn't bring your own, but these things keep the prices low. Id gladly sacrifice these elements for cheaper food. If you've seen one GNC, you've seen 'em all, right? Not so…read more.. I worked for GNC about 8-10 yrs ago and I can tell you they are definitely not all created equal. That's why I give this one 5-stars. I'm gonna skip the things that are common to ALL GNCs like the "Gold Card" or the "BOGO" deals. This is about what makes or breaks THIS GNC. Last I was there it was run by Will. I got to know him pretty well and his work ethic is astounding. He has incredible attention to detail and is sincerely concerned that each customer find exactly what they are looking for, or gets introduced to whatever will precisely meet their needs. You can tell he recognizes you as a person and wants to really help you. The store is very neat and has, to my eye, always been well-stocked with all the majorly sought after items. If, for example, you're looking for a specific type of health bar, chances are you're gonna find it here and in good supply. Natural cosmetics and beauty supplies are abundant and there's always some neat gadgets kickin' around that help support and maintain health like back massagers, etc. The other nice thing about this GNC is that it's right next to route 128 which makes it easily accessible for many miles. You don't have to park and then walk deep into a mall -- the door is like 7-8 feet from the parking lot. There's a GameStop, BlockBusters and Package Delivery in the same bldg, too. In fact, there's a big plaza there with a CVS, Panera, Sporting Goods and grocery shopping so if you have to get something at a GNC, you'll be able to get other errands done in one stop.

Especially great are their premade foods by the deli counter. Their different types of chicken salad is a favorite of my husbands. Their cookies are decent, especially the butter crunch. Their house made chicken pot pie is very popular with so many people, I have brought it to friends when they are home sick and I don't want to cook. No one is disappointed with that. They make all their food in-house. So good. Their desserts are quite good. Recently had a small event and didn't feel like cooking. I supplemented with a gallon of their hearty vegetable soup, and their little desserts. The veggie soup was just too healthy to be popular with this crowd, so that was a bad choice on my part. The desserts were a bit hit. They have flowers, cute paper goods, great house made hamburgers, we go there often. Never disappointing, but much more expensive than Shaws or Market Basket.
