Found this gem a couple years ago when I was looking for new supplements. Instantly loved the vibe, kindness of Pete and the knowledge he shared in going over what he had and what I should stack together. Everything I've ever tried from him was a win. For that, his constant help, and amazing prices, I continue to drive 90-120 min out to him (I live in central MA) just to get my supplements, powder, and protein puddings. I won't go anywhere else. read more

American Nutrition Center - Health Markets Near Me - Everett, Massachusetts

This place is awesome..... I have been kinda getting into the gym a little more lately and for a while I was spending allot of money at GNC. Ever since I found this place Ive cut my spending in half and found products that actually work. The staff here actually know what there talking about, when you ask them questions they really know, as opposed to the 17 year old at GNC who really doesn't give a shit. More importantly its a locally owned business, the owner is always there and has no problem giving discounts on everything. Basically since I've started coming here I get twice the supplements at half the price, this place is a no brainer. read more

I went in there for my first time today after years of skateboarding past it and not giving it a second glance. I only started P90X this week and decided a recovery mix was absolutely necessary. My first step in the door I could tell it was a hidden gem. I was immediately asked if I needed help after looking around the store in a confused daze. I told them what I was looking for. They were immediately able to recommend a recovery mix. They suggested Met-Rx Protein Revolution for recovery. He handed me the tub of powder I read it over quickly, I asked how much it was and they gave me about $15 off the sticker price! There were a few other people in the store as well, and it was easily able to tell that they know what they are talking about. The guy at the counter buying products told me the mix tasted well and gave me serving suggestions for maximum results. He also gave me his card for his gym with a free-week trial. I would have given 5 stars had they told me why they recommend one mix over another, but that is also partly my fault because I bought it without asking the right questions. Update: Just tried the mix and it tastes amazing. I will definitely be going back! I strongly recommend this for anyone who wants to get the right supplements. Just make sure you ask them questions you may have first. read more

This nutrition center is awsome. The prices are super competitive, sometimes cheaper then online; customer service is always great and the staff is very knowledgeable. Like another reviewer mentioned, they pump iron. If you drive there, bring a quater for the parking meter. read more

Great Staff and unbeatable prices, I've been to A LOT of different supplement stores around the country and have never found friendlier staff like this. Ask for Peter or Carlos ! You won't be disappointed. read more

Peter is an easy going guy. I have coming to his for a couple of years my buddy Blake referred me to his shop. Peter takes the time to explain the product and answer any questions even if it might be silly. Peter truely wants to help you on your goals. His pricing is very good so forget going to big name store. They don't know anything about fitness and they will over charge you. read more

The best place to buy supplements at a bargain price. If you're currently going to a GNC or any other supplement store, you are wrong. Huge selection here, so you'll likely find what you need. You can save a lot of money by buying your supplements here. Go see Peter he is the man. read more

I'm new to exercising and working out. My friend Flex had recommended ANC. He told me to tell them he sent me. Went in there last week for a tub of protein. I picked one off the shelf it was a syntha 6 dark chocolate flavor. They gave me a first time customer discount and then I told them my friend was Flex. They took another $10 off. I had a great experience with the salesman up front. The problem arises when I go outside. A really bulky guy with shaven head who told me he was the owner said I parked in "His spot". I thought he was just kidding until he threatened to "Piledrive" me into the pavement. I had explained that the street doesn't belong to him. It's a public roadway. We went back and forth until I mentioned my friend flex. At this time he insisted I take a new pudding he is selling for free. I agreed reluctantly. The pudding tasted good. But overall my experience was very poor. I will not ever be back here again. read more

Ive been going to ANC for about a year, I really like the place, its small and has everything a person who exercises could use for recovery and muscle building. The prices are much much better then your big box health food places and they have hard to find suppliments. Peter and Steve Cardillo are cool and of course theres jerry gunns, I think he's been pile driven and power bombed a few too many times. He's a nice guy but trys to push other products on you if you ask him for something specific that your looking for. Other then that its a great place and if they dont have it there they can order it for you. read more

Went to ANC today looking for Tri Flex or their version of it. My knee has been acting up lately and was looking for a supplement to help me. After speaking to a friend on Sunday about what he takes and where to buy I decided to go check it out. Walked in and was a bit put off because I used the GNC title for this joint supplement and he said that they don't sell it. Ok well do you sell joint supplements? Yes. Well that's what I need. I'm pretty sure they are all relatively the same thing. As long as it had the 3 things I was looking for Glucosamine, Chondroitin and MSM then that's what I need. So after getting the semantics out of the way I named dropped and the price went from $39.99 to $15. Made it all worth while. Now let's hope these big horse pills do what they are suppose to do. read more

The guys here are great. There is no BS here, this is not GNC, this shop is devoted to gaining the strength you crave. The guys are all knowledge and personality, and straightforward with their advice. I was referred to ANC by a good friend and coworker who has been a longtime customer, travelling the extra mile to Everett because it's worth it. If you're looking for reasonably priced well-known brands, ANC is where you should go. read more

Notable staff and stock! They're happy to help, answer questions, and give suggestions. Prices are always competitive. There's a strong, welcoming atmosphere here for new customers and old ones alike. The team is definitely a cut above your regular salespeople, and this is a cut above your regular vitamin store. Highly recommended. read more

Ive been going here for a long time. There prices are way cheaper than GNC, and vitamin shoppe. And you will always get a good explanation from them about whatever product your buying. read more

IT'S the BEST that you can get! Ask for Peter & tell em CASA sent you!!!

Always a good time going in there, everyone is there to help you. Go to ACN for your supplements and you're in great hands. They have an old-school type of attitude and are happy to have you as a customer as it shows in their respect and customer service. ANC Boston delivers the goods and their people are great! Thank you!

No need to go anywhere else...... I started going to the gym about 2 years ago. I was a newbie then ( and still am to a certain degree). Being a little intimidated upon going in the store, i was greeted by Mike and I told him i was new to the gym and used to go to GNC, He immediately educated me supplements on what to start out with and did not over sell me. He is considerably cheaper than on-line and chain stores. I've been going there ever since, changing my supplements upon his recommendation as needed or desired. If you're looking for supplements and gym guidance, you need to check this place out. You won't be dissapointed. read more

The best nutrition store in town. You cannot beat their prices. And not to mention their Black Friday sale was AMAZING. The guys are always friendly and hook you up. Peter the owner is always in and a really nice guy. Everybody either knows him or knows somebody that knows him. Either way, they have it all and for the best prices. Make the trip. read more

Finally got the time to write about these guys on yelp. I hope people read these anyhow I do what I need to do. I am a personal trainer for La fitness in Saugus. So sometimes my clients ask me what to take and then ask the next guy where to buy it. this has happened more that ones, for my peeps who go to ANC they go to buy one thing and they come out buying something else, not cool. so I ask around about this place and found out a lot of unhappy customers just in my gym, they change their prices on you all the time one product one day it is 15 next day it is 35 very unreliable. and the last thing I have to complain about is no knowledge of supplements, they guys or who ever works there is just there to run a business. I told one of my older client that he needs glucosamine and he calls me form the store and wants to know what is it for because the guys in there dont know about it. So I hope this review can save some of you some hassle. read more

I had a terrible experience today at ANC. I arrived @ 1:15 pm on Friday, April 4th, to purchase my usual $50 can of protein power. As soon as I walked in, the cashier (a female with black curly hair and a strong Boston accent) looked at me like I was about the rob the place. The 4 bodybuilders also in the store just stared at me like I didn't belong. They didn't even ask if I needed help. After I found the protein I was looking for and paid for it, the lady cashier didn't even say thank you. I've never felt that uncomfortable in a store before and will never shop there again. Given ANC is the only nutrition store in the area, I'll order my protein online from now on I hope the owner takes note and shares with his sales team. Not cool! read more

Went to these guys after recommendation from the Mass State Police...they are the best of the best! They know their product, and the prices are unbeatable. I will never go back to GNC ever again! read more

I really Love this store!!!!! Every time I went there I had a great experience, they are very nice, they take the time to answer all my question that are many Lol. The prices are very competitive, and so far they always had what I was looking for, they are very polite, and with a genuine smile that now a days is kind of rare. I just wish they had a parking lot, because a SOAB gave me a parking ticket yesterday for no reason. But that is not their fault so I absolutely recommend the store and as soon as my protein is gone I will be back :) read more

Very helpful, went in told them what I expected and right away I was given what I needed.Even explainedhow and when to use the protein power. Jerry was great and they were very knowledgable. Prices were awesome. I would recommend this place to everyone.. read more

I visited ANC because they advertised low prices. The prices were great, not the lowest, but without shipping costs it would be well worth shopping there. Unfortunately, the arrogance and rudeness, of who I believe is the owner, has deterred me from becoming a customer. His customer service skills were poor at best. I asked a few questions being new to the store and found myself speechless when he replied "what don't you understand ? Are you stupid ? " That's right, he actually called a potential customer "stupid". The other person was friendly and tried to help, I believe in an effort to compensate for the other persons rudeness but that wouldn't have been possible. I'm not sure how long they've been in business. Perhaps he was having a bad day. Unfortunately it cost them a customer. read more
