Really beautiful garden even though not everything was in bloom the fall foliage was worth it! I like that they also offer AAA and military discounts off tickets. Make sure to get a map so you know where you're going!

What a BEAUTIFUL space. I hope it can stay funded. I learned that the resort on the lot privatized after suggesting they'd support The Oregon Garden, and rather used it to funnel in profits. Or at least, that's my interpretation of what I learned from several people. It's a beautiful space and it's losing funding. Boooo corporate greed! Come support this beautiful space. It truly is an absolute wonderland. And thank you everyone who's keeping this space functioning, upkept, and funded.

The garden has lots blooming flowers when we walk in the garden. The parking lot is free for visitors. We are able to see the artwork in the garden and most of them have a price tag on them for visitors to buy them. Children garden has several cute plants shaped. We don't take a tram tour for wondering what the garden looks like. We walk through most trails and see how beautiful it is.

Fantastic place to stay with comfortable and clean rooms, a nice pool and an incredible venue with gorgeous flowers and fountains.

Fantastically Beautiful! Even in the wintertime. I saw some of the other reviews and thought I need to see it for myself. Everyone has an opinion but if you don't think this place is special then you live a privileged life, I guess. Today was my first time going here but I purchased a membership because I'll be back. I'm now looking forward to seeing the changes over the seasons. I especially appreciate being able to bring my dog here. We both had a great time!

Beautiful garden to explore! You can easily spend a day here walking through all the different spots they have. They also do special events within the garden like Dig in the Dirt for Mother's Day. Worth the trip down from the Portland metro area to enjoy the garden!

Small botanical garden compared to others I have visited, but let me tell you it's such a treat when on a road trip and you come across a jewel like this. Easily a couple of hours or half a day. The special treat is the art pieces that are in the garden if they have a price tag are available for sale. I love that idea. Give yourself a delightful day at a fabulous location that is super pet-friendly.

We have visited the gardens since the beginning. The gardens are beautiful and so well maintained. Definitely worth a visit. Bonus Gardens are do friendly

Amazing monstera, but the leaves were in dire need of a wipe down.

The Oregon Garden was a lot prettier in my memory. It was looking really run down. Tons of weeds everywhere and nothing was really maintained. Since it's May, I figured there would be so many things in bloom, but there wasn't really. Totally disappointed. The tropical green house is usually my favorite part of the garden, but it was just really sad. Many plants were dead and a few just looked terrible. It was heartbreaking to see the beautiful plants looking so run down.

I had read some reviews that the gardens are not being taken very good care of since covid. But still decided to check them out on a 4th July weekend. I do think that the gardens have a lot of potential. The concept and area is very well thought out. But definitely needs more TLC. There are so many abandoned areas that look totally overgrown. The kids play area is completely neglected. The areas that are well manicured are very enjoyable though. Their 4th of July fireworks were wonderful. We thought we'll enjoy them from the park but the line outside before the fireworks was so huge that we decided to watch from just outside our hotel (Oregon garden resort) and that was even better.

The Oregon Garden is in the beautiful small town of Silverton. The garden itself has many pathways meandering throughout with plenty of shade and benches to take in the beauty. There are multiple "areas" within the garden that focus on natural forested areas, multiple water ponds and creek, farm yard and veggie garden and even a playground with a "pirate ship" to climb on. Walking loops can be walked multiple times to log in the miles. Beautiful and scenic park with a mini cafe and gift shop.

He came across Kathy's Airbnb in Silverton and we fell in love. Location was great and we definitely feel the Oregon hospitality from the locals. For our 3 day stay in Silverton, we walked around their downtown and checked out some of the murals that the locals tell us about. There must be at least one in every block! Besides that, we also ventured out to nearby places: SILVER FALLS: The Silver Falls Park is a 7-8 mile hike to see 10 waterfalls! The hike was doable but definitely got us sweating at some point. The falls were beautiful to see and it was a peaceful and enjoyable hike. We went around 11:30am and there was an ok amount of people. Not too crowded but with the right amount of folks to chat with and hike alongside. They have a gift shop and a cafe with semi-clean bathrooms. WOODBURN PREMIUM OUTLET: on our second day, the bf and I checked out Woodburn Premium Outlets and it was great! Plenty of nice shops to look at such as Michael Kors, Nike, Adidas, North Face, Coach, Forever 21, J. Crew, etc. so many good sales ranging from 50% storewide to some with an additional 20-40%!! And omg, can't forget the TAX FREEE! I'm definitely loving this tax free in Oregon !! SALEM: the bf and I wanted to check out places not too far from our Airbnb and Salem was another nice little town nearby (~20mins away) and there was a nice little surprise when we arrived! On the day we visited, it was the 5th day of the summer solstice so it was "Make A Music" day. On this day, worldwide, bands play music on the streets for people to enjoy, We really liked walking around and listening to open mics all around town. There was a band playing in like every other block. Never experienced this before so it was fun to see people singing and dancing along the music. Silverton is a great area to stay cause it's quiet and peaceful and easily accessible to other places. Although not much to do in the town itself, they aren't far from other places.

It's a historic landmark house in a picturesque mid-Willamette Valley location East of Salem and within easy striking distance of the Cascade Mountains as well as many of Oregon's prime winery destinations. It's not even that far to the coast, for that matter, or to marvelous state parks like Silver Falls, one of Oregon's most popular for locals and outside visitors alike. The downtown is quaint, walkable, and classy, with excellent shopping, coffee, and dining out options (esp. the Silver Grille). And of course the owner, Nancy K., is approachable, animated, and articulate, making you feel smarter and more sophisticated simply by being in her presence. The rooms upstairs (there are 3) have distinctive flair and unique features: Sara Jane's room has a wonderful Victorian "fainting couch," which is comfortable enough to fall asleep on (trust me on this). Eleanor's room has an octagonal turret in the tiled bathroom which lets light pour in and reflect off the pale white walls and porcelain surfaces. If you haven't taken an actual reclining bath in a long while, this is your chance. But for all these amenities - and they are indeed impressive - the most remarkable feature of Adams House is the library and LP record collection, which Nancy has meticulously organized in one of the second floor rooms and made available for guest use. I spent several hours perusing the book shelves on my first visit, reading, browsing, and jotting down titles and authors of interest. It was like being in a bookstore. On my second visit, I ventured into the music collection, starting with a beautiful recording from 1955 of Glenn Gould's "Goldberg Variations" by J.S. Bach. Inspired by the experience, I went back to the shelves and located a recording from the 1980s by a Czech pianist of Beethoven's "Diabelli Variations." By the time I was done listening, breakfast was ready. What a nice way to start the morning, don't you think? Visiting Silverton and staying at Adams House is not so much "stepping back" in time as it is "stepping sideways" in time: moving horizontally away from the routines of your regular days and nights and experiencing, however briefly, an alternative universe: one in which music still plays on records, books still are written on paper, and tea is still served on silver in fine china. It's easy to appreciate - and hard to leave behind when you return to the road. I doubt that you will be disappointed by your initial visit. You'll likely return in the future, just to make sure that it wasn't just a dream, after all.
