Mara isn't just a hairdresser--she's a hair whisperer, time-bender, and low-key lifesaver…read more I came to her on the brink of a mental breakdown with 3 inches of root betrayal, split ends threatening secession, and a calendar that was less than cooperative. Most stylists would've looked at my panicked last-minute text and left me on read--but not Mara. She found a way. She always finds a way. It's her superpower. But let's talk skills. This woman is a second-generation stylist with the kind of instincts that only come from growing up with scissors in her hands and color theory in her DNA. Her background as a Matrix educator means she's not just up on trends--she teaches them. My hair has never looked or felt better. She's equal parts artist, therapist, magician, and miracle worker--and if you're lucky enough to get a spot in her chair, don't let go. Mara is the best kind of rare.

We all know how that is. Your hair is looking good - then- like overnight, you're in need of a stylist. Women here are super nice, always pleasant, and certainly very skilled. Ramune loves cutting my short hair, and she does a fabulous job. I have short hair. I have straight hair. I like it in an asymmetrical style. Tight around my ears and back. It needs to be cut with many layers so it's sits just perfectly. Ramune is very skillful and definitely listens to me describe what I'm interested in. I also have a few pictures, front, sides, and back - top, too...so there's really no room for misunderstandings. I enjoy the personal one on one experience, instead of being passed on to colorist, a shampooer, and such. They are focused on YOU. They value your appointment time. Will send reminders There is plenty of free parking, too!

I came in with an…read moreidea of what I wanted based on haircuts I was unhappy with in the past, but Jody took the time to explain why she thought a different approach would work better for my hair. She wasn't pushy at all--just honest and confident in her expertise. I'm really glad I listened because my hair turned out even better than I had imagined. I have very thick, waist-length hair (when I came in) and I didn't realize I should have booked the longer appointment. Instead of rushing to stay on schedule, Jody made sure to give my hair the time it needed. She even called her next client to let them know she'd be running behind, and they chose to reschedule. I really respected how she handled that because it showed she cares more about doing quality work than rushing people through appointments. You can tell Jody truly cares about her clients and takes pride in what she does. I left feeling so happy with my hair, and I'll definitely be back. If you're looking for someone who will listen, give honest professional advice, and deliver beautiful results, I highly recommend Jody!

Ever have one of those hair disasters that makes you want to hide under a hat forever... but life…read moredoesn't exactly pause for a bad haircut? That was me. I had a corrective cut and color gone wrong, felt completely defeated, and then....because life has impeccable timing...I landed a dream job interview for the very next day!!! In a panic, I sent out a Yelp service request, and it connected me with Jody, who might as well be a literal angel....call it divine timing I guess?! She opened the salon door calm, collected, and completely confident while I walked in feeling embarrassed, defeated, and convinced my hair was beyond saving. Not only did she squeeze me in at the last minute, she willingly took on a corrective cut and corrective color that many stylists wouldn't touch!!! especially with zero notice! She never made me feel like it was impossible or I was a problem. She just got to work. Less than three hours later, mind you....never has my hair taken less than 3hrs for a normal color and cut, & somehow this woman literally transformed it! Watching someone operate at that level of skill is incredible. My mom was a hairdresser for years and always took clients at the house. Trust, I've seen a lot! There was no panic, no gimmicks, no upselling...just years of expertise, thoughtful decision-making, and genuine artistry. But what impressed me even more was who she is. Jody is honest. She's real. She has incredibly high standards without an ounce of ego. She listened, she was patient, and she worked with me despite my very tight budget because she knew I was trying to prepare for a life-changing interview. Since then, my friends and family haven't stopped telling me how much brighter and lighter I look. Not just my hair...but me!!! They keep saying I'm smiling with my whole face again and standing a little taller. And they're right! I walked into that interview today feeling like myself again confident, put together, and present. I crushed the it! Would that have happened without Jody? Maybe. Would I have shown up as the fullest version of myself? Honestly... I don't think so. Sometimes healing shows up in the strangest places. Sometimes it's in the chair of a hairstylist who reminds you what it's feels like to recognize yourself in the mirror again.... If you're looking for a salon where talent meets integrity, stop searching. Book with Jody or any stylist she's chosen to work alongside her. Leaders set the standard for the people around them, and you can tell she expects excellence because she lives it. Spend your money here. She's worth every penny. Thank you, Jody, for helping me walk into one of the biggest moments of my life feeling like myself again. I'll never forget your kindness, your grace under pressure, and your incredible talent. See you in a few months.
