Throughout the planning process there were so many little behind the scenes details she saved me time on which I am so appreciative! I will miss seeing her monthly on our planning calls! I don't plan to get married again anytime soon but I do hope our paths cross again! I am speechless about her help from the rehearsal to the very last minute of shutting down the after party!! The top 3 highlights that people mentioned to me on the wedding day were 1. Dad's speech, 2. Florals, 3. How hard she HUSTLED!!! My bridesmaids and close family constantly approached me on the wedding day with sentiments of "wow, she's good!!" She exceeded our expectations and anticipated our every move! I have close family in the hospitality business (who are the harshest critics about everything in the event planning world) and were over the top satisfied with her commitment and follow through to make the day as seamless as possible! I am sure there were many hiccups that day that were not brought to my attention and for that, I give Lindsay full credit! I was able to relax, be present and have a B+ personality that evening instead of my typical A- for all things attention to detail! I felt completely comfortable 'handing Lindsay the reigns' and entrusting she would handle everything as necessary, which she did!!!

In a word, it was unbelievable. I can't imagine having had a better experience planning our daughter's wedding--our first wedding in the immediate family. Michelle and the entire LOLA team made us feel as though we were in the very best hands every step of the way. And one quality that deserves special mention is Michelle's emotional intelligence. She kept us on track while always being mindful of our individual schedules and personalities. She seemed to know instinctively not only WHEN to step in when something arose, but HOW to step in. That is a rare gift--and one that made the entire planning process so much easier and really fun! The wedding itself absolutely blew us away. It was everything we had hoped for and more, and we know that was in large part because of Michelle and LOLA. I would recommend LOLA Event Productions to absolutely anyone and will be singing their praises until the end of time. Truly, 10/5 stars.

She was always three steps ahead of us and somehow had absolutely everything covered before we even realized we needed it. Sanja was a LIFESAVER. My feet were killing me from my heels? She had foot-numbing spray. My bustle came undone? She fixed it. It came undone AGAIN? She fixed it AGAIN. A bridesmaid's dress wasn't working with her bra? Sanja had a needle and thread and literally sewed it into place. We had a quick room flip after the ceremony and needed place cards put out with assigned seats at every table? Sanja made sure every single card was exactly where it was supposed to be. And the biggest thing was that we never once had to worry about the behind-the-scenes stuff. We didn't have to talk to the hotel or any of our other vendors about arrival times, valet, setup, or any of the little details that could have easily become stressful. Sanja handled ALL of it. Our entire wedding party kept talking about how amazing she was, and a few of our guests noticed it too. She was kind, calm, incredibly capable, and just always there when we needed her. She made it so that we could actually enjoy our wedding day instead of worrying about everything happening behind the scenes. We are so incredibly grateful we had her there on our wedding day! She was truly the absolute best!!!

I got to meet with her more times than I was expecting before the wedding, and it was essential to remind me of things i wouldn't have thought of, and also to quell my anxieties. She was comforting during a mini-breakdown when I was overwhelmed by life, work, wedding... At the wedding, she helped immensely with coordinating all of the vendors, questions, decor set up and helping me with anything I needed. She helped fix my hair when it was out of place from the windy day, helped with my veil, getting a few stains out of the hem of my dress, etc etc. She had a HUGE emergency kit (I'm talking your dad's fishing box but 10 times as big) and left it open for wedding party/other guests to grab what they might need (hair spray, repair kits, you name it). She was definitely worth every penny and honestly deserved more. Hire her! You won't regret it. If you're wondering if you should have a coordinator, you should. It truly is necessary the day of, since the venue contact person is there for the venue more than you, your maid of honor/best man/parents shouldn't have to be the go-to person for all the little things, and she will help you with all the nitty gritty you don't even think of but things that are important!

After extensive research, we chose to work with Allana and hired her for partial wedding planning…read moreservices for our December 2024 wedding. During our initial meeting, she came across as kind, professional, and fairly priced. We planned to use both her planning and floral services, and we signed our contract in December 2023/January 2024. However, as a very organized, detail-oriented bride, I quickly became concerned with the quality of service provided. Communication was inconsistent and often unprofessional. Emails would go unanswered for several days or even weeks, and only after following up via text did she tell me that texting was her preferred method. This left me feeling that our wedding was not a priority. The few meetings we did have were inefficient--typically focused on a basic checklist easily found online--and often conducted via Bluetooth in her car, without note-taking. She frequently forgot details from prior conversations, which created frustration and resulted in me doing extra work to keep her updated. On several occasions, she also ended calls early for various reasons. While I understood that summer is a busy wedding season and she needed to prioritize weddings taking place sooner than ours, the level of support still felt inadequate. At the four-month mark, we reached out to begin floral planning as originally intended. The quote she provided was significantly above the budget we had previously discussed. When I requested a revised proposal within budget, she said she could not do it and instead sent two alternative florist names. With only four months to go, I suddenly found myself searching for a new florist entirely on my own. I had four separate meetings with new vendors--a stressful and unnecessary burden that should not have fallen on me, especially given that floral services were part of what Allana was originally supposed to handle. As we approached the 60-day mark, coordination issues continued. Allana missed a scheduled meeting without acknowledgement, and we still had no sense of a wedding-day timeline. With final vendor meetings approaching, I asked to meet and express my concerns and request additional support. To my surprise, she acknowledged her lack of involvement and offered to find someone else to take over, stating she wanted to avoid any "awkward or uncomfortable" feelings. I had hoped to resolve the issues and move forward together, not to have her withdraw from assisting so close to the wedding. With only 45 days remaining, this was alarming, and we ultimately accepted her offer to transition the planning to someone else, recognizing this as a sign she would not be reliable or trustworthy in the final stretch. I am giving two stars because, in the end, Allana connected us with Barbara Vanni of B Weddings, who stepped in on short notice and handled everything with exceptional professionalism, organization, and care. We are truly grateful for Barbara's support, and I will be leaving her a positive review separately.

She was always a step ahead and ensured all the pieces of the puzzle went into place. Then came a true test. Right before our wedding day, we got some unfortunate news that necessitated us to cancel our reception venue completely. This terrible news was handled amazingly well by Michelle. She talked though the situation with my partner and I and gave us options. We ended up having the reception in our family's backyard and needed to change the plans for the caterer, alcohol, DJ, and cake all in the last few days. She went above and beyond and stepped up for us in the final days and hours before our wedding, and was an absolute superhero on our wedding day. The amount of work she did was phenomenal. I don't know if there's a negative thing I can say about hiring Plan it Perfect for my wedding…read morecoordination - I wish I could have Rachel and her team with me at all times to field everything disorganized that comes my way. My now wife and I got engaged 3.5 months ago, and went all-in on planning our wedding for last weekend. With 3 months till d-day, we raced to find a wedding coordinator to ensure our speedy wedding would go off without a hitch. Thank goodness we came across some recommendations for Plan it Perfect. And thank goodness they had availability for our day. Rachel knew it was a bit of a quick and DIY wedding, but she jumped on the challenge - there to steer us in all our indecisions. I had most of the major planning done, but needed plenty of guidance with the details as the day drew near. She dealt with wedding party antics, awkward family dynamics, last minute decisions, and everything else we threw at her with grace. Her two assistants, Kim and Jess, stepped in to ensure the flow of the evening, while not making sure we didn't feel rushed or out of control. When I say that Rachel, Kim and Jess saved my wedding - it is no exaggeration. My wife and I's caterer, little did we know, was in sky high over its head. The ladies with Plan it Perfect didn't let us see them sweat, they kept themselves calm and at the helm... While they dealt with the caterer showing up an hour late, missing half their poorly trained staff, and completely unable to set a table or bar. Myself and my bride were none the wiser the entire time. It wasn't until service started that I saw how much of a shitshow the catering company really was. Yet, Rachel intervened and her team picked up the slack, jumping in to clear tables and coach waiters. It's because of them I was able to dance the night away, unbothered by the terribly late food and disaster of a bar, amongst other things too frustrating to mention. If you are thinking about whether or not you should hire a wedding coordinator, hire one. And if you're going to hire one, hire Rachel Hoffberger. She cares. Her team cares. And they're damn good at their job.
