This is my crazy girl~ but I am crazy too- so at least we know where she gets it from! I picked up a gift for my sister, which I just now (back home) realized I forgot to give it to her.... sigh. Toward the end of the strip of retail shops on Dodecanese Blvd. (next to the spice shop) Katie (I hope that I have her name right), has a fashion forward and conscious place to get clothing items and accessories that you'd be hard pressed to get anywhere else. When speaking to the owner I was informed that she only buys a few of each article of clothing so once the stock is exhausted, that's all there is available. I was told new shipments come in weekly which is pretty awesome. Her shop features some local handmade accessories and various pieces of wall art. I enjoyed talking to the shop owner and a salesperson when I was there and they were helpful without being pushy. I did not feel pressured to buy anything which makes for an enjoyable shopping experience. I found the clothing to be reasonably priced and I bought several pieces for my upcoming vacation. I hope to visit again and see the great pieces that Katie carries a limited inventory of. This is her first store and something she's passionate about and enjoys and I love that. Check out this boutique if you are fashion conscious (and even if not) and enjoy wearing clothing that is not sold in many stores. I fell in love with this little shop on Tarpon Avenue in Tarpon Springs. They have a very nice selection of clothing, shoes, homemade soaps, lotions, hats and jewelry. I purchased an adorable wrap-around striped shirt. I should have tried it on the store but I did not. I tried it on when I got back to my friends house and it didn't fit quite right. I didn't have time to return it Sunday and the store was closed Mondays and that's the day I went home to Jacksonville. I called the store Tuesday and the owner was willing to work with me. I mailed the shirt to the store and she gave me a store credit that I could use online. That is exceptional customer service! Which was much appreciated as the shirt was $26! And I have no doubt that I'll find something cute online. Update: I found another piece that I loved on the FB page and it is in the mail to me now. Can't wait until it arrives!
