As I expected SM Center to be quite basic - just the Hypermarket and some chain stores and restaurants like Jollibee perhaps, I was pleasantly surprised to find The Old Spaghetti House there. And, it has the cozy interiors and ambiance other branches I went to have.
My staple at TOSH is sundried tomato pesto pasta as it combines my two favorite ingredients well. My friend, though, insisted that we try the puttanesca, and it was also good, with enough tomatoes and olives. They also have unusual spaghetti offerings like the pasta negra (a friend has tried this and said it has squid ink!) and the Vietnamese garlic spaghetti. I guess I'm too happy with the usual Italian choices to try either. Perhaps one day when I'm feeling adventurous I will. Or if a friend asks me.
