Went in after fueling $45 and was made to pay for TWO slushies because they didn't have the right lids for the slushy cups so I used a medium fountain drink cup. Lady at the register and the lady cooking were EXTREMELY rude! And please keep in mind I live 10 min from here and visit multiple times weekly. Won't be stopping there anymore because the store on CHICOT has chili dogs just as good and great service. read more

This is a little off the wall, rustic gas station, convenience store with a cool selection of hot foods. In a warmer I noticed brisket sandwiches. We had egg rolls and hot dogs. They were really good and it's served by very nice smiling employees. There are several breakfast and sandwich selections and lunch items. We did have delicious chili dogs and egg rolls. The coolest thing I found there were Hostess pink snowballs! read more

Gas station food is awesome! The sign says "World famous hot dogs", so it was on the work route, and thought I might give it a shot. Had 2 chili dogs. The homemade chili was amazing, I with they had used different cheese than nacho cheese sauce, but it is what it is. Still, flavorful and filling. The young lady who served us was quick, professional and friendly. There is some outdoor seating, which can be hit or Miss with the southern heat and summer rains, but quite a nice view of the highway and railroad. The price was right, the food was good, so this shall be a place to return to. read more

Went to buy lottery tickets and scratch off tickets. I won 40 dollars on a scratch off ticket and they refused to pay me for it so I called the Mississippi lottery commission and reported them. Mississippi lottery commission requires the place where you purchased the scratch off to pay anything under 600. I went inside to inform them they will be contacted by the lottery commission and they became very rude and told me to leave and never come back. read more

We got off 10 for a pit stop up the road and Google sent us up 90. We aren't in a hurry anyway. We passed The Oaks and both said "Look at that place." I checked Yelp and we stopped for chili dogs and chicken tenders. It is a hole in the wall place, not a lot of stock. But the chicken tenders were nice and hot. The chili dogs were not the best I have had but were still quite good. We ate at the picnic table and people watched. It was a nice stop! read more

Oaks is a small gas station/convenience store on highway 90 in Orange Grove that serves some amazing chili cheese dogs. I grew up right down the street and my family has been going there to buy some for as long as I can remember. It's a small, family-owned and down-to-earth place where you'll find friendly service and cheap yet delicious chili cheese dogs customized how you'd like them. read more

This store used to be amazing. Until the previous owners sold it to the current owners. Their "World Famous" Chili dogs have went waaaayy down hill in quality and taste. And the staff are quite possibly the worst I've experienced there is an older lady who will literally take 5 full minutes to check you out. And that's only if you don't need anything behind the counter. It's sad to see one of my favorite after work stops go to crap like this. read more
