Atheneeeee, Athene Farmas! Look fellow yelpers... I wasn't ready to buy a house. I was just casually looking and somehow signed up to receive a call from a realtor. An unfamiliar number calls and instant regret, "I shouldn't have filled that form out" I think, "I'll just screen my calls like Destiny's Child." I never answer unfamiliar numbers, but for some reason I answered this call and I am so glad I did. Athene was on the other side of the call and she was so calming. I felt at ease. She asked me a few questions regarding we were at in our process and asked if my husband and I would be wiling to come in so she can walk us through how it all works etc... Now look again fellow yelpers, I lived in Burbank and she was in Santa Monica of all places. I DON'T CROSS the 405 for ANYONE. But for some reason, I felt like we should go. So we schlepped ourselves all the way over there on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon and met wonderful Athene. We told her we were interested in Culver City condos. She walked us through the process, started sending us properties, went to some showings with us. AND THEN I threw her for a fast one. I told her we wanted to move to South LA. For what we could get a condo for in Culver City, we could get a whole house near DTLA, YES PLS. I found a dream listing and Athene was on the case. I mean, I literally texted my mom, my husband and Athene, saying "this is my dream house". My heart was racing. It was in our price range, it checked all the boxes and it had an open house soon. Athene made sure to have us check out other homes in the area, which I am thankful for so we could best gauge our offer and what we were willing to negotiate. She was there EVERY step of the process. Always respectful of time. We texted, emailed, spoke on the phone whenever we could. I obviously did not know a lot of what the process looked like and she never made me feel dumb. We got our dream house, we closed in 21 days and we are so happy. Don't know what this buyer's remorse people talk about is? She also had really great recommendations for inspectors, contractors, lenders etc... And she stayed with me through the end, well after her job was done. We are so so happy Athene found us and we couldn't recommend her more! read more

The Noël Team - Our Townhome that the Noel Team helped sell. - Real Estate Agents Near Me - Los Angeles, California

We are beyond pleased with Sherri and the Noel Team in selling our house! Sherri knows the market and proved invaluable in helping us in recently selling our house in West LA! My wife and I are both extremely busy professionals and Sherri and her team did everything for us--from cleaning, staging, donating old furniture, negotiating... truly a turn-key service that guided us each step of the way. Could not have asked for a better group, and we had such an easy streamlined experience! Many thanks! The Spanos Family read more

My husband and I just sold our house and bought a new house. Sherri Noel and her team helped us sell our house in Mar Vista (Los Angeles) and Jeni Bober was our agent in our search of a new home also in Mar Vista. The entire team was brilliant - everything was discussed and clear from the start and we knew the steps we were going to have to take. Sherri Noel did a fantastic job guiding us and we made a significant profit on the sale. Jeni was a delight to work with, especially considering the insane real state market Los Angeles is experiencing. Jeni's calm and secure demeanor ensured we were on track with everything. Her negotiation skills are exceptional. I must add that Jeni was a great listener - she got us! - and her ability to see ahead and also respect who we are made this entire process so much better for us. Jeni was always professional and punctual. We are extremely grateful to Jeni for her dedication to us and for the beautiful home we were able to acquire. read more

Very happy with our experience selling the family home with the Noel Team. We weren't sure about selling during the pandemic at all, but the team assured us the market was moving. WOW were they right1 Four days on market. Five offers. Sold above asking price. The team helped us every step of the way: preparing the house for showing, navigating and evaluating multiple offers, and seeing things through all the way to escrow closing. At several points in the process, we didn't know exactly what to do, and Sherri and team clearly laid out the options. They made recommendations, but left no doubt that we were in charge. We followed their recommendations and got a better price as a result. I have no doubt about that. Highly recommend the Noel Team if you're selling (or buying--but our experience here was selling). read more

Rude and disrespectful in a people relationship business. Lack of communication. Sherry Noel did not deign to speak to the other agent in the transaction. Even where after making a 7 figure offer Ms Noel did not have the decency to contact agent personally or respond to any questions. This was not about a counter. This was about the agent lack of personal common courtesy. No one is that busy. Nada personal communication finally a text from an assistant. I would never want my agent to be that rude to possible buyers if she was my selling agent. And i would not list with her because of rudeness read more

Several years ago I had used Sherri Noel as the real estate agent for the purpose of finding suitable tenants to lease a residence that I owned that was located almost 40 miles from my own home. She was recommended by a good friend of mine who lived in that area. Sherri presented qualified tenants for us each time and the terms and conditions of the actual Lease were negotiated successfully and things went smoothly. I posted a positive review of Sherri as a result of the great job she and her team did back then. This review is for the services that she and her team rendered in connection with the sale of the same residential property. For various reasons I decided to place the house on the market for sale and there was no doubt in my mind that Sherri and her team should be the only agents or brokers to consider. She prepared and presented a thorough written market analysis and we agreed on an asking price based upon that analysis. I was then introduced to the members of Sherri's team who would be directly involved with me and the marketing of the property, consisting of Alexander, Jade and Gigi. Most of my direct interactions were with Alexander on a regular basis, and Jade and Gigi guided me through the maze of the voluminous amount of required paperwork. I am not the type of person who automatically signs every document put in front of me, and all of my questions were answered and my concerns addressed. Alexander also provided his input on so many matters, including the hiring of the right company for the "staging" of the property, meeting various inspectors and repair companies to perform necessary work on the property and, when necessary, he or another team member took care of meeting these people/companies onsite when I was unable to do so. Which was most of the time. He was always there when I needed him. This allowed the transaction to move forward in a timely and smooth manner and they were a pleasure to deal with during the entire process. Jade and Gigi were great in explaining things and helping me with the paperwork among other things related to the transaction and escrow process. The house was beautifully staged, there was an open house and there were individual home showings as well, and early on there were multiple offers received. Sherri, her team and I spoke extensively during the process and they continued to address issues and explain things when necessary, resulting in the close of escrow on time. They were absolutely patient and took the time necessary to explain things that I did not understand, as the amount of paperwork required for such a transaction in the Los Angeles area of California had skyrocketed over the years and several of the forms were of the type that I had never seen previously. They walked me through everything where I had questions, and were prompt in returning calls and emails. Their interfacing with the various vendors made it so much easier to go through with the transaction and obtaining a successful closing of escrow on great terms. I am very grateful and I highly recommend Noel Team. read more

My fiancé and I worked with Athene to help us find a new condo. She is a pleasure to work with- always on time for showings (if not early- to pre sceen the listings before you arrive). She is able to look over paperwork with a fine tooth comb, and during several negotiations she found numerous mistakes from the other party. We are so happy Athene was there to guide us through the process. read more

I interviewed a few brokers and agents to list my investment property in West LA. I have to say that I was impressed with all of them. Sherri Noel stood out amongst the already stellar group. We sold the property after one weekend on the market for above list price. Everything went smoothly, the marketing was amazing, and I couldn't have been more pleased. All in all, I made a great decision in working with Sherri and her team. Thanks to Sherri for a great transaction. I hope to find another property in West LA and to have the opportunity to work with Sherri again. read more

Sherri Noel & her team are The BEST REAL ESTATE TEAM IN LOS ANGELES!!!!! Sherri Noel and her team are spot on about everything and have SO much knowledge!! If you want someone to find you your dream property and negotiate the best outcome, Sherri and her team will help you with all aspects. If you are selling your home and need someone to get you the best price, Sherri is a shark!!! (Believe me - AMAZING!!!) Sherri Noel honestly knows EVERYTHING there is to know - she is a property / real estate GENIUS!!!! During our most recent purchase, in escrow, our inspection found black mold. Jose was there to see it in person and Sherri walked us through every step and advocated for us. Let's just say, we are mold free and sitting pretty (financially)! I felt so comfortable in their metaphoric hands during the entire process. Sherri's team also helped my sister find an income property in Brentwood and they will be helping her next year when she needs to sell it. I will ONLY work with the Sherri Noel Team for all my property selling and buying! THANK YOU!!!!!! read more

What can I say other than I could not be more satisfied with Sherri and her team. Years ago we bought our first home and the seller's agent happened to be Sherri Noel. Our purchase went easily and my wife and I were very impressed with Sherri's temperament, demeanor, and expertise. Fast forward to a few months ago when we had outgrown out home and we turned to the Noel team to both purchase a new home and simultaneously sell our current home. Sherri handled our sale and handed us off to a wonderful woman to find us our new home. From the buying side, our agent was a bulldog! She began by getting to know us and what we were looking for and then spent countless hours looking at properties and what I loved about her was that she only brought us to see properties that she knew we would like and that were in our price range. The other time we had purchased a home, it seemed like our agent just pulled things off the MLS that fit our criteria and then had us go look; NOT this time. It was apparent that our agent had seen the properties and didn't waste our time with ones that looked good on paper but were not what we wanted in reality! As a seller, Sherri held our hands the whole way though, helping us stage it, being our therapist when things got emotional, setting the best price, managing multiple offers, and then when we accepted and offer (from multiple above ask offers) and the potential buyer could not get financing, Sherri somehow within 2 days had us back in escrow at a higher price with the same close date with a new buyer! I will never work with anyone else to buy or sell our house! read more

We are very happy with the sale of our house with Sherri and the Noël Team. From our first meeting with Sherri we appreciated her knowledge, experience and easy-going and still very professional demeanor. We relied on her for a lot of advice and she provided top-notch everything. I especially appreciated the time she took explaining things to me and answering my questions thoroughly and with compassion. The Noël Team was so on top of their game. Kelli was gracious and a huge help and always available to us. I would definitely recommend Sherri and her team for any real estate needs. You will be in good hands. read more

There are few endeavors in life more daunting and difficult than buying and selling a home (simultaneously) and I have to say that I will forever be grateful to Sherri for her help in making this as smooth as one could ever hope for. I only have glowing things to say about my experience working with her. First and foremost, Sherri was ALWAYS available. Never once did I have a hard time getting a hold of her, and when I did have a question, she either answered it immediately and honestly, or she ensured me she would find an answer promptly (which she always did). Secondly, a big part of this process is peace of mind, and knowing that you are in good hands. I truly believe Sherri and her team have unparalleled knowledge of the market, the variables at play, and the ever-changing landscape of home buying and selling. More importantly, they sincerely hold their clients' best interest at heart and their priorities are in the right place. Specifically, her knowledge of the westside is unbeatable. I felt I could relax knowing things were gonna be taken care of, and there is nothing more valuable than that during such a stressful time. Lastly, and this is a big one... Sherri doesn't have that icky "real estate agent vibe" that I get from so many other agents (you know what I'm talking about). And she doesn't hire people who have it either. These are real people, with great personalities, who want to help, and get the job done. The day we met, she promised me we'd sell my house and in just a matter of weeks -- we did. Her team assured me they would help me find the right place to call my next home, and in a few weeks... we did. Couldn't ask for more. All the gratitude and credit to Sherri and the whole Noel team. If you're shopping for an agency to work with, I don't think you can do better than the Noel Team. read more

Samantha is a gem of a real estate agent!! As first time home buyers in this very competitive market, my husband and I feel so lucky to have worked with Samantha. She made the home buying process an enjoyable and stress free experience for us. She is kind, honest, extremely knowledgeable, and professional. She was always available to answer all of our questions and concerns and seamlessly coordinated all inspections during escrow. Samantha made sure to put our needs first, advocated for us when needed, and was a calming presence when things felt stressful or overwhelming. She helped us find our dream home within the first month of working together. Denise Scher, a buyer's agent with the Noel team, is an amazing realtor and I cannot recommend her highly enough. We recently moved to LA and decided to start looking for homes. After doing some research on our own and attending open houses, we bumped into Denise. Denise was working at an open house for the Noel team and greeted us warmly as we walked through the door. We were hesitant to commit to a real estate agent, but decided to take Denise up on her offer to meet and get an overview of the LA housing market. We spent some time later that week discussing what we were interested in and realized just how knowledgeable and caring Denise is. Over the course of roughly 5 months we worked closely with Denise to refine our search and budget, moving from homes, to condos, looking in all of West LA, and vacillating almost $1M in price range. Throughout our time working together, including several offers, changes of mind, and challenges with sellers and lenders, Denise was not only our friend, but our advocate. She ALWAYS returned our calls, texts, and emails immediately, and we never had to wait for a response. Her customer service was second to none, and most importantly, she was never pushy, never made us feel uncomfortable, and never had anything but our best interest at heart. Without Denise, our process of buying a home could have been extremely frustrating, but she was always a phone call, text, or email away. Ready to commiserate, jump into action on our behalf, or just chat about what she's seen and what we might like. Denise has the fortitude to advocate tirelessly for her buyers, no matter what the challenge. Her integrity, character, and glowing personality make her a wonderful real estate professional, and I'm so grateful we were able to meet her. read more

Sherri and the entire Noel team were nothing short of amazing! We were moving out of the area and motivated to sell quickly as we had already found another property. Her stellar advice guided us through this often complicated process and we have nothing but total confidence in her abilities. Highly recommend! read more

Not sure how to add a comment to my previous review, to which Sherri Noël replied that my negative experience must be a case of buyer's remorse. No buyer's remorse here! Just wish the selling agent had been someone else, or that Sherri Noël had better ethics. Of course the seller wrote a 5-star review -- probably primarily b/c it was solicited from SN, b/c he didn't know about some of SN's omissions and failings (e.g., leaving house unlocked), and the seller himself failed to disclose things he definitely knew about. We've spoken to others in the neighborhood who've dealt with SN also and have heard similar things, and she has a poor reputation with other real estate agents. I love my house, no buyer's remorse, just urge you not to work with Sherri Noël if ethics and consideration matter to you. read more

I reached out to Sherri when I wanted to sell my home. Even though it was over the Christmas break, Sherri came by my house completely prepared with excellent marketing materials and a strategy for selling my property quickly at a high price. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to use Sherri, as I managed to get myself stuck with an absolutely awful and shady agent, Marc Krief (please note, if you hear of Marc or even think of using him, DO NOT DO IT). Even though it became clear pretty quickly I wouldn't be able to rid myself of Marc and that Sherri would not be able to be my agent, she still went out of her way to offer her thoughts and experiences regarding similar situations, which was extremely helpful. Although I've heard that Sherri's no-nonsense approach can turn some people off, I found it to be an example of her professionalism and her dedication to delivering high-quality results. read more

Sherri Noel and her team are the best!! This is Los Angeles, real estate agents are a dime a dozen. I have found that most just take a class and fill out forms, but ultimately lack what it takes to be a professional agent. What separates Sherri from the rest is everything. Sherri and her team sold our last home, purchased our current home, and most recently helped use with a very tricky land acquisition. Her professionalism, knowledge, demeanor, and people skills are beyond exemplary. Here are some details. When we sold our home, the marketing quality she provided was top notch. When you browse the MLS, you see all kinds of pictures of the listings. With Sherri, you will get the highest quality listing, period. Photos that make you want to see the house, the ones that make the house look fantastic, the ones done by a professional photographer that showcase the best qualities of your home, check. They will make it into the papers and all the websites. Sherri has an eye for detail and is very smart about what you can do to make your house sell. When she looked at our kitchen she suggested we change out the cabinet hardware handles and such. It was a very low cost update, maybe only a couple hundred dollars, but it made our kitchen look ten years newer. After all of her suggestions, our house looked so great, we wondered why we were selling it. We sold that house in 2009, which was a very tough time to sell. It was a buyers market. We sold it for what we wanted to get, and sold it fast. When we purchased our new home, we were the first people to see the house when it was listed. And, we were the first to make an offer on the house. It was a very prized property and it had multiple offers before the first open house, but it was already ours....in a very strong buyers market. Need I say more? Most recently we purchased a small piece of vacant land next to our property. It was owned by someone that had purchased it with the sole intent to sell it at a profit as it had absolutely zero use for development. This was a very sensitive situation that required the utmost tact, and careful negotiations. It also required an extraordinary understanding of real estate laws and title issues. It was a very difficult situation for us to be in, and we were convinced we were going to end up in a lawsuit over the property. Calling Sherri to negotiate a deal to avoid court was our last hope to acquire the property. Once again, Sherri came through. In my opinion, this deal exemplifies what makes Sherri an a-list, top notch agent. She was able to negotiate a deal with a seller who was not trying to sell. A seller who's sole intent was going to be to sell for the highest possible price because we needed the property. Sherri knows how to work with people, plain and simple. She knows the playing field. She has an impeccable eye for detail. She can think outside of the box and adapt to any situation her client is put in. She has gone the extra mile for us every time because that's her standard. Like I said, agents here are a dime a dozen and it's really tough to find a pro, but you needn't look any further than the Noel Team. read more

We were so happy to work with Jennifer Lax over the past month to lease our rental property at 1127 Ashland. She hopped on it and was able to deliver a contract and check in 24 hours from a great tenant. Plus she brought us over 10% more than our advertised monthly rental rate! Wow! I'm not currently a buyer or a seller, but I did recently need to consult with realtor on a question concerning the resale impact of a planned home improvement. Most realtors didn't return my calls (which I understand, as there was no money in it for them), but Sherri did, having clearly researched and thought through the pros and cons of my question. Her insight was incredibly valuable, and I was very impressed that she took the time with me, despite there being no payoff on her end. I'd definitely use her when next I'm selling or buying. read more

Sherri Noel is the rudest woman I have ever had the misfortune to meet. At an open house today she aggressively confronted my wife to pick up our dog, I had no problem picking up our dog, it was her tone that was utterly abrasive. when I confronted her about it, she told she thought "the English had manners", she then attempted to drag other people at the open house into the argument, who promptly left. I can confidently say I will never view another of her properties let alone put in an offer. She didn't greet a single person, or ask if anyone had any questions about the property they were viewing. I could go on but I highly doubt her company will be in business for very long with her attitude. read more

I wanted to make sure that Noel was the listing agent to the builder we sold our home to before posting this. Noel had done business with this builder before, so after only about the second open house the push was on to sell to this person. I am certain she knew she'd get the listing for the new house that would be built. "The really serious buyers come within the first two weeks," she warned. Thus the rush to sell began. My wife and I are senior citizens and we were no doubt too trusting and naive to evaluate what was happening to us properly. We ended up selling to her builder who tore our home down and built a new one. I have little doubt that with an agent who had our best interest in mind we could have gotten more for our home. Avoid this person. . . read more

My brother and I were initially impressed with Sherri and her team; they certainly were expeditious in selling my mom's home (although it can't have been that difficult since the house was in a highly desirable area). One of our first questions had to do with providing a date of death valuation for tax purposes. However, despite her assurance that it would be 'no problem', it took many weeks after Escrow closed and after constant emails on my part requesting the report before her office sent a check to cover the appraisal. I don't know why it took so long if she really intended to provide the information in the first place. To me this demonstrates a lack of professionalism and integrity. I do not trust her. She totally let us down and, as a result, I am not comfortable giving her an unqualified recommendation. I might add that although Sherri did explain she was having difficulty accessing the MLS listings, her team was lethargic in providing updates (as to efforts they were supposedly still making) or even responding to our emails requesting such updates. This lack of communication led us to believe that, once the sale was complete, we were being 'written off'. It took nearly 8 WEEKS before her office finally agreed to provide a check to pay our own appraiser, which we subsequently did and had a report within 8 DAYS! Do the math. It's a little hard to believe an accomplished and experienced realtor couldn't have done what we did if she/he really wanted to do so. Maybe if Sherri had taken as much time to arrange an appraisal as she did monitoring and writing her responses to reviews, I might have a different opinion. read more

First, I am rating the Noel Team only, and not Keller Williams, as I am active in the real estate market and although each KW office is different, my experiences have been quite mixed with KW as a company. I heard about Sherri through a friend who owned a home in the area where I own an investment home that I intended to rent. My friend did not know her personally, but was familiar with Sherri's name because of her high profile in the Mar Vista/West Los Angeles/Santa Monica area. I had recently remodeled/renovated this rental home and I do not live close to it. I should say that I never met Sherri or any of her team in person. She worked so quickly and efficiently, that I did not have to. Here is what happened: I contacted her by telephone and she immediately got me comparables for the area and gave me a projected lease price that I thought might be too high, although the comps seemed to support it. I reviewed and signed the listing agreement and she and her team went to work immediately. Offers came in quickly, and she was not rushing me at all, meaning I could be as selective as I wanted to be for a new tenant, and she agreed with me in every case. Rebecca stayed in touch with me constantly by phone and email, and seemed to be there at all hours. She knew the answer to every question I asked and was as pleasant and professional as could be. Sheri gave me marketing advice, including suggesting things that I did NOT have to do in order to get the property rented. I was not in a hurry, and she did not rush me. She offered to meet in person several times, but I do not live close and since I am a professional in the business, I knew she was doing her job. She was easily accessible, totally professional and got the job done. She also helped me in so many ways, including meeting on site with vendors (as did Rebecca) so that I would not have to travel to the home when vendors needed measure, install, etc. I am extremely pleased with how smoothly the transaction went and with the quality of the tenants. It's only been a couple of months, and there have been no problems. I would absolutely use her and her team again as a leasing agent or agent to sell property. I do not necessarily consider myself to be an 'easy client", as I do read everything, pay a great deal of attention to detail and ask lots of questions if I feel I need to. I am also picky about tenants and the maintenance of the property. She and Rebecca maintained their high level of responsiveness and gave input that helped seal the deal. I am not removing her from my speed dial, even though this deal is done. They stayed on top of it even though it was just a lease deal, and as a result, I hope to do business with her again. She knows who I am from this review, and she can use me as a reference any time. I have been involved in many many real estate transactions in my career, and I have never been more pleased. read more
