Having lost a child, I love to look for angels! I hit the jackpot when I visited Country lane! Not only did I find angels galore, I also found an antique ash tray made & sold by Tiara Glass ware. My mother used to sell Tiara and the ashtray, coincidentally, happened to be a gift to top tier salespeople. My Dad had the same ashtray on his upright tobacco ashtray stand. #memories The store is well-stocked, well-Organized, & well-staffed! Never did I think I'd enjoy antiquing but it has definitely become a fun family activity, especially in other states while vacationing.

Treasure House is one of the second group, and has a unique personality all its own. Plenty of womens and kids clothing spanning the store when you first walk in, and the rest in the store to the right. Electronics, CDs, books, dress patterns, furniture, decorations, and whatever else comes in. I was so disappointed; I had visited treasure House a few years ago and picked up a record or two; I visited today, and they have no more records. They have cassettes and VCR tapes, but no records??? Wide selection of books, though, far more than TVs and computer equipment. I didn't look at the clothing, I was there for the records . . . Worth a stop in if you're looking for a dress, a book, a picture, or just to get out of the rain.

They specialize mainly in clothing, babies, children, men & women's as well as shoes, formals, handbags, toys, and baby equipment/necessities. This is a consignment store, so the inventory is constantly changing and fresh. I dropped off two full bags and only got a few dollars back, so for sellers -- might not be the best for profit unless you're just wanting to make a little bit off unwanted clothing but as a buyer, I LOVE THIS PLACE. Items that don't sale quickly, get moved to the "porch sale" where I've scored new with tag items for less than a dollar! Inside, I've found boutique and brand name clothing, such as Matilda Jane, for $5.99 & Miss Me Jeans for $15-$20 -- you can't find that anywhere else!! The big bonus? Moms listen up... they have a PLAY AREA for the kids in a back corner of the shop filled with toys. SO your kiddo can be pre-occupied playing while still in hearing/seeing range while your shop! Doesn't get much better than that!

I tell her I am there to send a western union and she says "we stop that at 6" it's now 6:11pm. I ask her when do they close she says 7. She was extremely rude and unapologetic even though I had been standing there since before 6. I feel that if you are open, you should be open and provide all services. People making blank trips is frustrating enough and then met with this attitude is over the top. Also customer information should not be left on display!

If I could give extra stars I absolutely would! I also saw several air/heating service company trucks outside through our 4 trips today. (Multiple trips were our fault, not theirs!) I felt more comfortable knowing the professionals trust them for parts. And even though my husband and I are far from professional, we had all of our questions answered honestly and clearly.
