It's also surprisingly spacious, which makes it fun to browse without feeling crowded. We stop in at least two or three times during our annual week in Chautauqua, and it never gets old. Once upon a time, I lived just 6 minutes from this gem. Now I live 45 minutes away, and I still make the trip. Why? Because walking into this place is my version of therapy. Yes, I'm the weirdo who openly sniffs the books. No, I'm not sorry. The selection is outstanding. I won't swear they have every genre under the sun, but I will say I've never left empty-handed--and I read everything from thoughtful nonfiction to weird fiction to "why is this cover so dramatic?" suspense novels. This is a new-to-me Barnes & Noble. It's out next to the McKinley mall. It's large and has a lot of…read morepeople in it which is lovely to see. The cooking section is very large and open and easy to navigate. There's a huge Starbucks inside which also has plenty of people sitting in the tables and enjoying the environment. I'm very glad I made a stop here. 3 stars for this large chain. I default chains to 3 stars as they must be A-OK to expand as they have.
