I've worked with a couple of great designers in the Bay Area, he is not in that category. A really fun day after the whole process is almost done is installation day. The designer delivers you all your furniture and places it where you've planned. This installation day is essential because both parties inspect the finished product and, hopefully, approve of the work. A seasoned and high quality designer always does this last part. He failed to do so. I do not trust him.
