We check them out for winter jackets especially since those might be on the higher price point for kid clothing items- we've gotten jackets my daughter LOVES from here that hold up pretty well. Mostly have gotten shirts or sweaters in the $4-$12 range- some from stores like the gap which I didn't initially gravitate to for my kiddo but now do (at the actual store). They have the whole clothing area organized with clear signs of where to look (not like a Marshalls where it's all thrown together). I really love that they have toys too- not even for the buying but the selling. I joke I'm close to being a hoarder because I can't let go of anything.. so it's nice to know I can bring my daughters old toys and clothes here. I only tried to sell x1 so far but I was pretty disappointed for a huge bag they offered me $6.. I didn't understand the rationale when some of it should have been worth a little more. If you get that little as a trade-in, I maybe rather give it to a friend or someone on a fb group who needs it because the payoff/reward is greater but again.. at least this is an option! Also: Make sure you check when their buy back hours are so you don't show up with bags/buckets for no reason. Another tidbit: you may walk out with items you never expected to bring home (ie one time at checkout I was paying for clothes and before you know it a rocking ride-on toy sheep was being carried to my car Lol).

They do have up to I think 5T so that's great. What I love about this place is that they section off T-shirts long sleeve shirts, pants, shoes and jackets. There is also all different seasons so you can get what you need in the season you want and it's clearer than a lot of places that I went to. The shoes are in bins, which is nice instead of them being thrown about. The service is great The employees were very friendly.

Clouds, clouds, and more clouds... is what I feel... and that's fine by me. The sales approach is completely different from what I've been given, which isn't much of anything, to be honest, and these sales associates know their "shit." They really do, and to be further honest, I think that what other Yelpers have viewed as "rude" or "condescending" was just the sales people ripping apart all preconceived ideas and trying to teach us how to TRULY get properly fit for a shoe, be it for walking or running or whatever. It was an education for sure, and I can see why some would be put off by it. I didn't want to hear some of what they said, but they weren't wrong, either, and my feet are happy once again. Maybe I'll order another pair in another color.

I went in the middle of a random weekday thinking the store would be less busy, but there were many customers in there being fitted. Jarod was the associate who helped me. He asked questions about my intended use for the shoes and had me try out a few pairs after measuring my feet. He made adjustments and picked different pairs out from the back as I told him how the shoes felt. I landed on the Saucony Guide 19, which was not shoes that I had in mind or come across during my research. But they are super comfy and I love running in them. I saw they had a lot of gels and other running gear in the store. Would love to revisit when I start preparing for longer runs!

We were told to go to customer service and request a Fashion Coordinator. The woman at the counter announced over the loud speaker for one to come to the service counter. After 15 minutes no one showed up. Off we went to fend for ourselves through dozens and dozens of dress racks. We picked out about 7 dresses and headed to the dressing room. Packed in like cattle my daughter tried on dress after dress. Some sizes weren't readily available and no one was at the computer that's ACTUALLY in the dressing room so I had to go out to the customer service counter to get assistance. There I did receive prompt service and a "runner" would fetch the correct size and hand it to me there. Not sure how long they've been in business but I feel like they've become complacent and don't really care about offering even basic customer service. Maybe they were overwhelmed because it's peak prom season but I noticed many moms and daughters trying dresses on and leaving them, without buying. Overall 3.5, with my two cents: care for your customers and they'll take care of you.

I found an awesome pattern, but the yarn they called for I could only find online, and when I'm making something I like to feel the yarn to make sure it's the texture/softness I'm looking for. When I came into the store I explained my conundrum to the woman who was working there, not knowing what to expect since I was asking about a product they don't carry. Instead of turning me away, she asked the yarn name, pulled up an app on her phone, advised me of its basic details (yards, gauge, etc) and then went on to advise of all the equivalent options I could pick up that would be almost identical. I had an enormous sink hole that developed right before leaving work and these men came to my home within minutes, after calling at 8 a.m. It took a few hours to fill the gaping hole and 4 yards worth of soil. After already having had a bad experience the same day at another store, we were looking forward to finding the perfect dress. Instead, the woman who helped us showed my daughter and I two dresses that did not fit and claimed she was "stumped" on her sizing. She then proceeded to direct me to once area of dresses and told to pick something from there. We selected something that was ok but I could tell my daughter was not thrilled. She didn't have the ear to ear smile I expected. When I told the salesperson we weren't thrilled she responded with "I don't know what else I can show you." Meanwhile we had tried on about 4-5 dresses...there were well over 40 in the room and she insisted nothing would work. The family that was in the store right before us looked like they had the red carpet rolled out and we were shooed out like we were worthless. We took our business elsewhere and were treated with respect and kindness, which we did not experience at Pashley. This store and its associates need to take the stick out of their ass. We found dresses that were just as beautiful and superior service elsewhere.

I usually end up buying gifts, seasonal decorations, or little treats for myself like tea, antique trinkets, and candles. I find it hard to describe how the place is organized, but essentially every little alcove in the store represents a particular local craftsperson or entrepreneur. Some of my favorites include... * "Ma belle maison," which is a collection of interesting, reasonably priced antiques and decorations (some sourced directly from southwest France). I found a really cool antique pen tray and some North American duck stamped cards that I have framed above my desk. * "Backstory home" has the best seasonal candles I've ever found! The pumpkin bread candle actually smells like the real thing, and isn't too sweet or overpowering. I also bought their Taylor swift inspired candles for my cousin and she loved them! * Not sure if it's "Harbor cheese and provisions" or "Tono's Tabletop," but there is a fridge stocked with charcuterie, cheese, and nonalcoholic drinks that I've bought for picnics in springtime! Nest also has craft workshops that you can sign up for, and pop up shops that rotate pretty frequently. The clipper ship tea company is currently there, with a unique selection of loose leaf tea blends to choose from- like pumpkin chai! All in all, I love coming to nest. They also do a really nice job wrapping gifts at the front desk. When you walk in, it feels as though you've stepped into a fairy land. Tiny glittering objects and trinkets adorn every inch of space, appealing to new age crystal collectors, modern hippies, beach-combing coastal dwellers, cottage core kids, and everyone in between! On the main floor they have most of their crystals and gemstone jewelry, from many different vendors and suppliers. In the little alcoves right near the front door they stock palo santo, cedar, and sage bundles, as well as my absolute favorite fragrances and candles from L'apothecaire. In the next room to the right they have a variety of leather goods like wallets and purses, greeting cards, and some clothing. Upstairs they sell all different types of incense, incense burners, tarot cards, essential oils, even more gems, and candles (including voluspa that are significantly cheaper than you can find online). And I'm just barely scratching the surface of what you can find here. Without a doubt, Heartichoke is a treasure trove that you can easily get lost in.
