    Sweet sweet Nova

This place is magical. We had such a great experience spending the morning at this farm. Stephanie was really sweet and patient with our group, who was just loving all that there is to see here. This is such a great experience for the price and she teaches you a lot about the garden and animals as we go. Not to mention, the care she puts in having snacks for you is so welcomed. Her lemon bars are delicious! I would recommend this experience for anyone, it's not just for kids. You get to pet sheep, cows, chickens, sweet sweet Nova the dog. You can feed the animals and pick eggs.

We visited Stephanie's bio-diverse farm as a group of 4 and had a wonderful time! Stephanie was an excellent host and took great care to ensure that the experience was safe and socially distanced ! During our visit, we interacted with hens, sheep, rabbits and horses and learnt a lot about life on a farm. I'd highly recommend this place to folks of all of age-groups who are looking to have a fun time outdoors.

This place is so cute!!! The owner Stephanie was wonderful she answered literally all of our annoying questions and was so patient with our group. We got to do way more than I imagined, feeding allllll the animals (goats, horses, cows, chickens, bunnies, sheep and doggos!). Picking out eggs, fresh out of the coop! There was even a baby chick roaming about which was so cute! The snack she made us with all the ingredients from her farm were so yummy, we got fresh baked bread, egg salad, their super delicious honey, plums and fruit infused water! We got to walk the miniature horses and ended the day browsing through her gift shop and walked away with fresh eggs! I can't wait to return again, thank you for a wonderful experience! I recommend wearing pants/long sleeves! You are outdoors the entire time, we walked away with some bug bites but nothing crazy! Bring something to drink and something to keep the sun out of your eyes! Expect to be tired after feeding cute animals for 3 hours my husband and I both took a nap immediately after!

We had a blast at the Nest Box! We signed up for the 2 hour private tour, and Stephanie was an excellent and patient host. We got to feed the goats and sheep weed salad that we had collected from the farm grounds. Got to hold days old lamb, so cute!! Picked up and petted chicken - our favorite animal of the day was Silky the Cochin hen, she was so chill and cuddly! We hand fed the cows granola. Got to feed the chicken and collected fresh eggs. Walked and petted the miniature horse, and lastly petted, fed and brushed the bunnies too! Stephanie also served us with some yummy snacks - home made meyer lemon bars, duck egg salad and meyer lemon water, made from the lemons and eggs from the farm. Stephanie was very friendly, patient with the kids, and overall the perfect host! All the animals look happy and the farm was super clean. We could tell that the animals are super well taken care of. Thank you for a super awesome day!

When we think of delicious heirloom tomatoes and more varieties, this is the only spot that comes to mind. Tomatoes here are unbelievably flavorful, and the Brad's Atomic Grape variety is on another level. During tomato season, you simply park outside and pick your own, which is such a fun and thoughtful idea. Their tomatoes made our summer meals so special, and we're already looking forward to coming back next season

Online Catalog offered 30 varieties to choose from for $10 a plant. However on the day, they offered 47 tomato varieties (see pic) The Local Makers Market event also had local owned business booths, from a flower van, champagne, crafts, olive oil booth, salsa booth, bath products like lotions and potions and likely a dozen more I can't recall. A food truck called "Pupusa Lady" and of course I ordered 2 empanadas. Delicious ! Parking was easy as one actually parks on the main road. Not sure if there was other parking. All in all, it was a warm breezy day and amazed how many ppl were buying these starter tomato plants. Even the owner was in the midst talking to customers. So glad they accepted plastic. Process was super easy as one finds the vanities, grab the pot (and free cardboard box, if needed), then walk to "cashier" table and pay. I bought 4 varieties : Brandywine, Nepal, Martha Washington and Tasmanian Chocolate. Tip: During the tomato season, This farm offers an honesty cart where they leave their beautiful tomatoes of the season on a cart outside and one pays based on prices and place payment in a lock box or similar. I haven't experienced that YET as tomato season is not yet here. But once summer arrives and on my way to the Gilroy Outlets, I'll be sure to buy fresh in season tomatoes.

The kids and adults all learned so much about tortoises, and the whole experience was incredibly informative, hands-on, and just so cool. How often do you get to get up close and personal with giant tortoises like that?! The owners were so knowledgeable and kind to open up their home and space to all of us. You can tell how much they care about their animals and sharing what they know with kids. Such a fun and unique experience, and we can't wait to come back again with my youngest for his field trip!

Unfortunately, the experience quickly changed due to the rude behavior from the owners. During our visit, the owner yelled at the children - YELLED. This video is just a small example of what happened. There were multiple instances where both the man and his wife raised their voices not only at the kids, but also at the parents. While the children still managed to have fun, the overall environment felt stressful and uncomfortable for many of us. We understand that managing large groups of young kids can be challenging, but the way the situation was handled made what should have been a positive field trip feel uneasy and disappointing.

This was our first trip to G&M Farms in Livermore and it was incredibly special and actually quite the fun surprise off the freeway. As we were coming home from a night away, we wanted to stop and have a moment with our little amongst the pumpkins and support an East Bay pumpkin patch. As we were about to pass Livermore, we saw signage and oodles of fun happening for G&M Farms so we pulled off. There is so much to do here! You can grab a red Radio Flyer wagon and truly go hunting for the perfect pumpkin within the patch itself, or if you're on the hunt for more smaller pumpkins/gourds there is a whole gift shop/farm store that is so incredibly cute for basically every pumpkin vibe you can imagine. Plenty of spots to stop and take pictures with friends or family. There's a corn maze, drinks/snacks like mini donuts, popcorn, and corn dogs, and speaking of corn..oh-em-gee! Truly wanted to share a review for this reason alone. Looking for a sensory activity for your little? There is not a sandbox, but a giant CORN box for play. The adults also tried it (essentially we just put our feet in and it felt surprisingly really nice. Something unexpected and truly unique, fun, and interactive. We also noticed a few other activities on the pumpkin patch side like a tractor/train ride and I'm not sure if there was a petting zoo? Regardless, worth a trip if you haven't made your pumpkin haul yet. Plenty of room for strollers and very spread out. Can't wait to make the corn box an annual tradition. Looking forward to truly enjoying the patch next year with more time. Thank you G&M Farms for the memories! Still finding little corn kernels ;)
