Dr. Mersky helped me in 2019 when I got diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. He taught me a lot about diet and herbal treatments, which eventually helped me heal. It's July 2020 now and been symptom free now for more than 9 months. My favorite things about Dr. Mersky is that he has an extremely broad range of knowledge and that he is very respectful. While I had my Ulcerative Colitis flair, my body got so weak and I had body aches constantly. Mersky would use his chiropractic techniques to loosen up any part of my body that would be stiff. I always felt better leaving the session than I did when I entered. Dr. Mersky monitored my weight while I was rapidly losing weight and helped me stay hydrated while I was rapidly losing fluids. I've been seeing Dr. Mersky for the past 10 years now and I could never go to another Chiropractor. He specializes in TMJ disorders & craniofacial pain, which was exactly what I needed. I was self conscious of my uneven face and how mal-aligned my jaw was. Luckily, my mom's friend referred us years ago and he has helped with balancing my face and my whole body. I feel better than I ever have before, I didn't realize how much my body needed an adjustment until seeing him! I'm a very active person and participate in high impact sports, like surfing, snowboarding, and wake boarding. I'm always bruising or injuring myself and want to get back to my sports ASAP. Dr. Mersky always caters to my injuries & is extremely knowledgeable with any questions I do have. It's crazy how much he knows about the body by just feeling a certain muscle! This past time I saw him was for a broken shoulder, and he helped me far more than my Orthopedic Specialist I was seeing.. If you are looking to be healed you have come to the right place! I have been a patient of Dr. Mersky for over 10 years. I have been to several other chiropractors and he is truly the best in the business. He is very knowledgable and highly educated. My whole family has been treated by him. When my mom had to move out of San Diego, she said if she could she would take Dr. Mersky with her. Even my boyfriend who broke his back when he was hit by a truck swears Dr.Mersky is the only person he will ever allow to work on his neck. There is no one better in all of San Diego...perhaps in all of California. I give him my highest recommendation. He is simply THE BEST! Also, I was disappointed to see such a negative review for Michelle Beck the neuromuscular therapist. She is an amazing healer and has helped me and my family immensely over the years. I think the girl who wrote the bad review must have mistaken neuromuscular therapy for deep tissue massage. Michelle has powerful hands that isolate individual muscles and causes them to release by triggering the nerves that control them. I have literally felt her move knots out of my back, neck, and hips. So please don't be discouraged by the negative review. I think that girl should try another type of therapy. The Natural Path is an excellent clinic with state of the art therapies. Dr. Mersky really is a miracle worker. He's the only doctor, western or eastern medicine, who has ever been able to significantly improve the chronic back pain that I have had since I was injured as a teenager. He, Judy, and the staff always make you feel very at home, I have never had a bad experience, and have been seeing him on and off for over 10 years. Everyone I have ever referred here has always walked away feeling better and hopeful, even when they previously thought there was no chance that anyone could improve their ipain and quality of life. She releases pressure points which allows your body to move correctly and relieves pain. Dr. Mersky is amazing. He knows so much about the body and is very nice in explaining what he's doing and how to help with whatever your problems may be. I went in for some back pain/postural problems and I left feeling more relaxed and loose than I have after a 90-minute massage. This chiropractic office is awesome! I have been to many other chiropractors and a lot have been good, even great. So far I think Dr. Mersky is the best one and most intuitive chiropractor for my issues. I have had TMJ issues that no one could figure out. He helped me with my lower back by adjusting the bones in my head as well as my low back. I am finally on the way to getting better after years of being in pain with neck and back issues that were related to my TMJ. He adjusts very gently and is on time, no musical waiting rooms. I love it! Michele provides bodywork in the office, sometimes referred to as a form of structural integration and she is awesome. She does not do typical massage, but that is not what I was there for. She helped get rid of knots in my jaw and back that have been there for years that no massage therapist could permanently help. She is very gentle and communicates well. She is careful to not overwork, but you need to communicate as well as no one can read your mind. I have had bodywork done by other people and at times was in terrible pain and they ignored it. Michele is wonderful! There are other services at this office as well. Judy is great with nutrition and helped me with Candida issues. Staff is friendly too. Great office! read more

I am not this writing this review on Dr. Merskey, but he has a "Neuromuscular Therapist/Massage Therapist" Michele Beck under his employ in his office that leads much to be desired. I was referred and went to her because I have a nueromuscular disease (that someone in this field should know, and she never heard of it) and need a deep tissue massage every 2 weeks which I explained to her. Make sure you ask her exactly what she is going to do before she starts Her "treatment"...or else you will pay $100.00 for her to first, not give you a massage AT ALL (like I scheduled her for), then do a lot of "stretching" and light pushing of joints, etc. I have had similar treatment that is always incorporated with a massage, and when I sent her an email regarding my dissapointment, (yes, my fault for not being verbal at the session, however, I thought maybe I would feel better after regardless.) she gave me alot of double talk and offered no compenation whatsoever. I felt no better and even worse after, where I needed to go to my regualr therapist and a chiropractor. In my opinion, do not waste your time on this quackery. read more

I agree with Allison - Dr. Mersky is FAB!!! I have seen the best and the worst chiropractors in the northern California area. After moving to San Diego, my wife started seeing Dr. Mersky and then it happened my back went out - I'm a typical guy and don't see doctors in case I have to - I went to see Dr. Mersky, The Natural Path in Del Mar because I was in some real pain, about 2 1/2" off center of pain, he worked on me for about an hour and he fixed me.
