Thanks to my girlfriend I have spent a large portion of time waiting around in places such as this and the Powder Room is one of the nicer places I have stared at the walls in. The staff are friendly and well presented and this place appears to have a touch of class about, rather than being a quick botch job to make people look like clowns these people take time and care over what they do. I would compare the Powder Room to a makeup section of a film set rather than a low rent beauty salon of which there are plenty in Liverpool. To sum up the Powder Room has a touch of class about it.

Thankfully, it was to buy a treatment for my sister for her incoming birthday and not to book myself in for some French tips. Upon entering the spa, I was pretty clueless as to what I should get my sister (her only intimation about her birthday present was that she'd quite like a massage, but I didn't really know what kind or even if there was different types). However, I was quickly aided by the helpful assistant there, who advised me of the available treatments that I could book for her as well as recommending popular ones that were still within my budget (I am a student, after all). If you live in town it's probably not realistic to come all the way out here--it's not that fabulous, even if it is pretty good. Prices are good, and they won't try to rob you blind by forcing you to have a hair wash etc like some salons attempt to do. They also sell some hair and beauty products.
