The shop is not huge but it is extremely well kept inside and they have everything needed to make your beauty treatment seem like a little luxurious treat. They obviously do a lot of nails as there was a large choice of varnish colours to pick from. The lady that did both of our pedicures did a brilliant job. We went in with not great looking feet to be honest (more my Mom than me!) and came out with twinkle toes. They have a great knack of ensuring the varnish will withstand anything and lasts a long time. Wonderfully, our feet looked just as great at the end of our break away as they did on the plane out. All for £16 each which we thought was a real bargain. They also provide facials, waxing, tanning, massages and treatments for men.

Unfortunately I then came down too ill to go to my appointment. I phoned up and talked to Bond and asked her what their cancellation policy was as nobody had told me and it was nowhere on the website. I was not told on the phone what the policy was either, all I got told was that she will book me in to have my hair dyed another day, so she booked me in. I then had to cancel a second time as I had terrible flu and my dad talked to Bond on speaker phone so I could hear and my mum could I hear (I was too ill to use my voice) and again no cancellation policy or anything was explained, all that happened is my hair dye appointment was booked in another time. So I turned up to have my hair dyed, having organised my whole month so I could be there as it is tricky for me to go as I am 95% housebound with severe chronic health problems, and I then got told by Bond that she would not dye my hair that day, they she would only do another skin test first and then I'd have to return again next week (which I was not able to do). I told her that I had not been told any of this on the phone, and she said that she had explained all of this. I explained that I had talked to her, and my dad had talked to her with my mum and me listening in on speakerphone, and neither time was any of this explained. My mum and dad confirmed this. She still said all of this had been explained and would not apologise for her mistake. I will not return to this place again. I am not well enough to be messed about. It took a lot to get there only for them to not dye my hair. The least they could have done was apologise. I am never using your hairdressers again. Poor communication, poor service.

I've been visiting this nail salon on and off for the past 5 years. I usually have bouts of going…read moreoff my acrylics or one of the techs will do something that irritates me and then I will go elsewhere usually returning as they are the closest and quickest nail bar. On one of my last visits I always seem to get the same tech that no one wants, she proceeded to do me a French pedi and just before sending me to go and dry I took a look to which I told her I wasn't satisfied for her to tell me I had had my acrylic overlays on too long and that was the reason they looked discoloured. I responded to this with why did you not tell me this before staring my treatment and having the option to get a new set for slightly more money. After becoming slightly miffed she agreed to paint over the top so the discolouration would be less obvious. I went on my way fairly happy. I returned four weeks later and had a new set of acrylic on fingers and toes done which was relatively stress free. However on my last and final ever visit to the salon I asked if they could remove the acrylic as u wanted to take a break alongside the fact that I've began studying and I'm not allowed any nail adornments on my course for placement. I was greeted by the same rude employee questioning why am I taking them off and why don't I just infill them simply because she didn't want to spend the time doing this somewhat monotonous job. After she began taking the acrylic off my toes I immediately noticed something wrong with the nails, they had become blackened at the root and the texture somewhat grainy when I asked the tech she told me that this was due to me banging my toe. I went on my way and have since released that I have infant contracted a nail infection. Personally I will never return to this salon the owner is lovely but the some of the employers and this one in particular are down right rude and lazy; three weeks later I still have some of the acrylic I paid £30 or more to remove remaining on my toe nails. It feels every time you say something to this employee she has a response she couldn't be bothered soaking the acrylic off my toe nails so insisted cutting them down so low and filing the surface when I asked her why she said it was so my nails wouldn't break!

Can't reach to cut my own toe nails any more so I went to Ken & Kim. They make it clear before hand…read morethat it isn't a full pedicure, just a tidy up, which is just what I wanted. They did a really good job, well pleased and will be using them all the time from now on. Went to a so called 'chiropodist' some months ago, he didn't do a very good job at all and I was charged 3 times as much.

Not quite what I'd had in mind. Nonetheless, I decided in for a penny in for a pound and had my fingers painted too. While I didn't get the soaks and massages I associate with a pedicure, at £14 for both hands and feet to be polished, I can't complain. I'll go back for the polish only service before a night out.

The salon wasn't the most modern I'd ever been in, but it felt clean and it had a relaxed vibe so it worked for me. There were a few products available to buy but I didn't look too closely at the price as I wasn't interested in buying anything. The girl took my previous nail varnish off and filed my nails into the desired shape. I went for a combination of in between round and square nails which looked great. I was really impressed with the quality of the hand and arm massage. It was so relaxing I didn't want it to end! The overall experience was great and my nails looked better than ever.
