If I could put 0 stars I would. We had a beautiful wedding & when it came time to the reception,…read moreour DJ did not follow our timeline or order of events. We met in person with Beach Boyz at their office in Cuyahoga Falls as well as completed paperwork before hand. The timeline was even confirmed with Beach Boyz. After we were announced into the reception, we had planned our first dance. The DJ skipped our first dance and we had to awkwardly walk to our head table after standing in the middle of the dance floor for a minute. Approached by the DJ, he said he could not play our first dance because it was not in the contract. He then continued to argue with me in front of all the guests. Our wedding party, my husband and I were in shock. After an extended time he moved to the toasts instead. This delayed our timeline and we had to skip our sunset photos because we no longer had time for them. I couldn't believe it! The DJ then asked what our first dance song was and said he wasn't provided with that information although they were given it twice, in person and on an electronic form. Our first dance was rescheduled for after our cake cutting. When it was time for the first dance the DJ played the wrong song not once but 3 TIMES!!! He then had to stop the music and there was a lull of 10 minutes he was frantically trying to find the right song. It was embarrassing and completely unacceptable! It took our event coordinators to get the song on their phone and the right equipment to play the song. Beach Boys did not have the music or equipment to play the song which is their one job!! I was in utter shock that this could even be possible. How are you not prepared with the music for the day? How do you not review the timeline ahead of the event? I would never recommend this DJ company to anyone and all of our guests would agree. Beach Boyz was so terrible that the owner of our upscale venue said they would no longer be allowed on their premises or they would have to let go of the DJ. I will say although the DJ provided terrible services, the company also failed to provide him with the information and music he needed to perform his job. Do yourself a favor and save yourself from a nightmare on your wedding day and pick ANY other DJ!!

If you are looking for the perfect event planning team, look no further - the search is over!…read more My husband and I have both been married before and we had never hired a wedding planner. While reading information about Bellar Events on TheKnot.com, their services were exactly what we were looking for. Once we met Kerrie and Michael, we felt like we had discovered new family members, and people who could make our wedding into the reality that we were looking for. Bellar Events has everything that you are looking for, from prompt response to attention to detail to affordability. BUT - it is the little things that put them over the top! Things that, to us, set this team apart from any other: Taking the time to really listen to our story and get to know us as a couple, and then composing a ceremony that centered around our love and what it took to get where we were that day; Kerrie (literally) running down the aisle with our 4-year-old flower girl and 5-year-old ring bearer during rehearsal; Michael making sure that all of the tuxedo pant legs fit "just right" down on top of their FILA high-tops; Kerrie seeing my tears as I was getting ready to walk down the aisle and stopping to listen to me as I was bouncing up & down saying "It's here - it is finally here"; Kerrie making sure that our "older" parents didn't have to stay in the sun/heat too long; and Kerrie sitting on the floor behind my daughter while she gave her Maid of Honor speech. When looking for a wedding planner we didn't really know what we would find, but in the end, we found the very best! Our wedding day was one of the biggest days of our lives and Bellar Events ensured it was absolutely perfect! The best decision we could have ever made!

They are such a courteous and professional team. Their work the night of the event was stunning! From the first interaction of outlining our needs until the event wrapped up - everything ran smoothly and was just perfect. I was incredibly nervous the day of our event, but the Dove team was so composed and efficient and did everything with such ease and mastery that it calmed my nerves, too. Best of all, their pricing was great! We received a referral for them, so we were concerned they might be too expensive for our budget, but they actually took our needs into consideration and worked to keep everything under budget. They even added a couple of items that I didn't request (as I didn't know how much it would add to the feel of the event) and included a few free upgrades, as they had just upgraded their equipment. All in all, I can recommend them with the highest confidence! They are excellent at what they do, brilliant in execution, professional and courteous in their interactions, and just an all-around great company to work with.
