I've have a love hate relationship with doing my own lawn feralization/weed prevention. Last year,…read moreI was walking the dog and noticed how beautiful our neighbors yard looked. They referred me to the Rolling Green team. Pete came out put together a custom quote based on my yards needs. I pre-payed for the year and they'd just come out per their schedule, zip around the yard and leave a note on the front door. Quite literally a set it and forget it scenario. The yard stayed green all year and was easily fuller and more lush than our adjourning neighbor. Sorry guys! I also decided to give their mosquito abatement program too. Our yard is fairly wooded and there is a wetland/pond area within 100 yards of our property. I've traditionally used those yard sprays you connect to a hose in the past with limited success. Was it perfect? No, BUT it was markedly better than anything that I was doing in the past. Like a lot better. I could be in yard after dusk without being swarmed. And it lasted for weeks versus the couple of days the other stuff would provide. Just signed another contract for this year to continue the progress. Crabgrass was really starting to recede last year and I'm looking forward to having it gone.

The guys that man the desk as semi helpful. I know they are used to contractors calling and knowing exactly what they need but this was a first time for us installing a flagstone patio. I did have a fairly good estimate on what we needed. My only issue was with the steppers. I thought I was getting a pallet of huge 2 ft x 3 feet stones we could stack as a stairway but it was a pallet of small flagstone pieces. Other that that mistake everything else was spot on. The sod is amazing. We orders 6 pallets and we laid the day after delivery and had only 2 pieces that didn't take.

All other landscapers came out and suggested mulch except Down to Earth. Carlos who I worked with said he could put down mulch, but stone would be better. There were branches and something that used to hold wood and an old wheel barrel that had a flat tire and large rack that I would trip over in a stump that I would also trip over. I opted for the stone. They took away everything behind the garage and cleared the area completely. Then I asked them if they could do the side of the garage with stone. They said if they had enough, they would do it. They had enough. It looks absolutely beautiful and then they put mulch around the restroom the yard. They were neat everything was cleaned off. They even Luis leaves off the patio. I would recommend them to anyone.
