The radio was blaring overhead right wing consternation for my political party and the President of the United States. Retail stores don't get it. Don't bring politics into your sales. Put on home improvement station or easy listening music. You lost my business forever and the word spreads. Too bad. Bad choice.

Stick to oil changes. Went to get an oil change in Grand Rapids at the Valvoline which went fine…read morebut they decided to put air in my tires as well. Once I left and made it to the other side of town, I noticed I had a flat passenger side, rear tire. Called immediately and got a reply from their manager that I must have driven over a nail or something. I told him that would be coincidental and I made my way back to the store. Turns out they broke the valve stem somehow and I would need to purchase a new one but they don't carry them. The guy (non-manager) was polite and did fix it temporarily enough to get home but not what I was looking for when getting an oil change. Now I get to make an appointment and pay extra money to get it fixed at a certified tire store.

These guys greet you with a friendly smile, they give you quality options to choose from for your vehicle, they give you items to consider to get done when your vehicle reaches a certain mileage. And when you think you couldn't get a better a deal or better service, they are sending coupons to my email for service. The value I spend is very reasonable, but it's truly the customer service that keeps me coming back. I declined, so they tested it 2 more times and drained my battery and then it wouldn't start to leave. And then offered to replace my battery at full price including an install fee. Are you kidding me?! You drain my battery and then pull that? It started fine even in the coldest of mornings up until that point. No, just no. I should have known better, 6 years ago they dumped oil on my husbands alternator and fried it and then tried to get out of that as well. On that one they at least did eventually take responsibility and fixed it. But still, that shouldn't happen on either account.
