Minister G - Killing it i tell ya!

Minister G

Let me start by stating that my husband and I never wanted to have a wedding. We are not tradition…read moreby any means, we don't like being the center of attention, and I have never enjoyed ceremonies of any kind. We wanted to elope or go to City Hall and call it a day. My aging father, who never asks anything of me, begged us to have a wedding. Three months later, we found ourselves standing under a beautiful floral wedding arch, in an old industrial factory, surrounded by 100 of our closest family and friends, before of Minister G at our wedding ceremony. As an anti-bride, I was certain my favorite part of the wedding would be the partying towards the end of the reception after all of the greetings and well wishes were complete. I was surprisingly mistaken. The ceremony was my favorite part of the day. It was magical and I will cherish those moments for a lifetime. Minister G played a really important role in why - I had a hard time finding ordained ministers that understood us as a couple and the more relax vibe of our day. My heart sank when I realized I would have to hire a woman who scrutinized my decisions like not wanting to walk down the isle but simply greet our guests as they arrive and start the ceremony by stepping to the stage with my partner when it was time to begin. I didn't know what my options were at the time, and I didn't have time to keep searching for someone who embodied our vision and who we are, until a potential wedding photographer suggested Minister G. I was speaking to her about how I envisioned an officiant who was commanding of the audience with a sense of humor. Someone who understood who my husband and I are as people and as a couple. Minister G far exceeded anything I could have hoped for. She personalized the standard vows based on a questionnaire that Anthony and I had not shared the answers to. It made it funny but also much more sweet, sincere and authentic than the standard boring vows. She spoke beautifully and confidently, captivating everyone's attention. She made the ceremony feel exactly like us. Which is truly impressive given that we only met 2 months prior to this day with limited interaction as I had so much going on. Minister G handled everything that was required of her, was a great resource of information regarding the marriage license so I didn't really have to put much thought into it. I felt like she had it covered. She arrrived early, looking beautiful and gave us clear direction. I have recommended Minister G to several people already. Our guest are still talking about how great the ceremony and vows were. Some thought we wrote them ourselves. It was truly such an unexpected highlight of our day. Don't be dissuaded if you are more traditional and want a different kind of ceremony. Minister G will make it what you want it to be and will add components that will make the day feel much more authentic. So honored and grateful that she was a part of our day.

She tailors the ceremony to what the couple wants. We spoke on the phone and she sent us a questionnaire that provided her with all of the information she needed for the ceremony. She arrived early and the ceremony couldn't have gone smoother. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a professional minister who can speak both English and Spanish.

Our venue unfortunately didn't allow us to have a formal rehearsal, but Alex coordinated everything so seamlessly that you would have never known we didn't have one. He made sure everyone knew where they needed to be, what to expect, and helped everything flow smoothly on the day of our wedding. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to all of our requests truly made a difference. Alex went above and beyond to make sure our ceremony was exactly what we envisioned, and we're so grateful to have had him be such an important part of our special day. If we could choose our officiant a hundred times over, we would choose Alex every single time. We can't recommend him enough! Thank you, Alex, for helping make our wedding day so memorable!

Our ceremony meant everything to us, and because we come from different religious backgrounds, it was important to find the right balance of spiritual, meaningful, and personal without feeling overdone. Alex exceeded every expectation. He wrote a truly beautiful and heartfelt ceremony that reflected us perfectly, handled our no-electronics announcement seamlessly, and was so thoughtful that he even stepped out of the frame for our first-kiss photos. Rev. Samora is one of a kind!!…read more We met her at a wedding fair and hired her to be the officiant for our wedding in May/2019. We can hardly put everything in words: Her speeches, her voice tone, the way she made the ceremony so flowy and catchy, her effort, the perfect coordination with every detail we had in mind for our day, everything was just perfect. Most of our guests kept asking for how long had we met her for, since everybody thought we were close friends. Not to mention how she made absolute everyone there (grooms included) bawl out!! She is amazing and would recommend her for anyone looking for authenticity and warmth during the ceremony.

I knew the moment I heard her calm demeanor on the answering machine that she was the one! She was flexible, worked with us on the details and met us right away. She was unfazed by the rushing around we were doing and held space calmly and compassionately. She took charge in a gentle way, guiding us with great elegance. She did an impromptu ceremony with just four of us in attendance and was just lovely. We were honored to have her work with us. Thank you Rev. Samora for being the epitome of kindness and joy.
