Ms. Morgan,
As a professional myself, I am beyond perplexed as to why after speaking & leveling with you just a few days ago on Saturday 05/28/22 @ 12:51 pm on that call which concluded with a verbal appointment confirmation with you, that suddenly my scheduled appointment has been canceled not once but twice without any explanation & never rescheduled. As a person of faith & integrity I will always give another human being the benefit of the doubt. I was expecting you to have the professional courtesy to provide me with an explanation for what appears to be intentionally canceling two appointments in which originally you verbally gave me your word on accommodating me & committed to the appointment by confirming during the phone consultation. It is now very apparent that you deliberately have not followed up on the two voice messages and the message that was left for you on the company's customer booking online form when I initially thought I was dealing with a legitimate booking error & scheduled a second appointment ironically that was still available for the original day and time confirmed by you when we spoke Saturday morning on 05/28/22. More disturbing was to see after the second appointment was canceled just as the first appointment was canceled without a courtesy follow-up call & explanation, a notification stating "scheduling conflict, please contact us regarding your scheduling needs". This is a moot point as the same time slot was available when I booked the same appointment twice on 05/25 & on 05/28 for a scheduled Luxury Pedicure on Tuesday May 31st @ 3:00 pm. As of 05/30/22 your website customer booking app still reflects an open schedule for you from 12:00 Noon until 4:00 pm on 05/31/22. A business not returning customer calls under any circumstances let alone under these specific circumstances is not acceptable & downright unprofessional.
I have never encountered this type of situation before, which is why as previously noted, I am perplexed. It was wishful thinking when I assumed that perhaps for the sake of your business reputation, you would have extended the professional courtesy of calling me by now & providing me with an explanation, especially since we had already discussed the details of my confirmed appointment
While I always look at the content of a person's character regardless of race, color, ethnicity, or gender, it's very unfortunate when collectively "People of Color" who are business owners try to support and patronize other "People of Color" businesses encounter the few bad actors who engage in what I refer to as "The ill-Fated Black Business Syndrome" - A mentality that treats Black & Brown people of color in a manner below the dignity of oneself and below the dignity of the businesses mission and vision. It's an unfortunate yet destructive mindset which hurts all businesses who engage in this practice but there's a particular sting when this happens on the watch of a Black owned business. Based on my experience and knowledge with The Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, the African American Chambers of Commerce, as well as the Better Business Bureau your handling of this matter would be considered unprofessional conduct. I also wonder how the PA Human Relations Commission would evaluate a possible "Public Accommodations Discrimination" Violation based on a business discriminating against a person's physical disability. While at this point, I don't expect the professional courtesy of a return or follow up call with an explanation from you, perhaps redemption may occur upon independent third-party state and local inquiries into how your business has inappropriately handled this matter.
Please carefully note that I have been very blessed & fortunate in that I have never spared any expenses on pampering myself over the years with Luxury Full Service Spa & Salon Treatments & generously tipping whether traveling abroad to countries such as Morocco to experience world renown Luxury/Relaxing Hammams "Specialty Authentic Full Spa Services including Rjel & Idd/Yedd Treatments or traveling within the US to some of the Pacific Islands such as Maui for a "Ritz- Carlton Full Spa Kapalua & Pedi/Medi Immersed Total Experience" or to Mexico and being pampered at the Exclusive Playa Mujeres Luxury Spa just to name a few - when a business has earned my trust, confidence, & has met my professional standards. Regardless of how much a patron can afford to pay for professional services, professionalism is the expectation at all times.
It is now very apparent that both cancellations were intentional even as you verbally confirmed & even as I gave you the benefit of the doubt for the first canceled appointment.
It is beyond insulting in light of the seriousness of my complaint that you would have the
audacity to send me an email dated 06/01/22 asking me to purchase a gift card from your
business which further underscores your insensitivity, unprofessionalism & tone deafness. read more
