They pay attention to detail, they're so nice and willing to do whatever to make you happy. Unfortunately i cannot do gel or dip because it makes my eczema worse so i have to still to regular polish which can be hard to make look nice and last and they do this. Great place for a pedicure. I walked in and didn't have to wait long for a chair. I got the hot stone pedicure which included callus treatment and a ten minute massage. After the regular massage they also did a hot stone massage. It was lovely. Great job on the pedicure as well. Afterwards they even gave me a short back and neck massage while my toes dried. Had an acrylic fill & french here for the first time, as my usual spot had no openings. I showed a pic & got exactly what I asked for End of session included cuticle oil, a quick hand massage & nice warm towel. Completely happy with my artist, he was efficient & quiet, which suits me fine, as I am not a small-talk type. Other artists were more chatty if that's your thing. Busy place, but not too big. They did seem fully staffed, with 3 people doing nails and I think 2 others doing pedicures behind me. calling ahead seems smart, (I did, and had a same day appt an hour from when I called), even tho they seemed to accommodate some walk-in peeps. Great nail salon that's clean and thorough. They're extremely popular so be prepared to wait even with an appointment. They have gel, powder, and acrylic. They also have a great spa pedicure that's worth the extra few bucks because they really get your callouses! They've also adapted well to new Covid regulations with acrylic shields. I was born in the neighborhood outside of this nail spa, and my sisters would go there very often. When I tell you that every single time I've gone to this place I've been stared at by the employees like I don't belong there and it's so evident that they don't want to work on me. They sigh and grumble and talk to each other like none of them want to. It's like they're from a decade a long time ago and it's so shocking that a male is coming to get their nails/toes done, despite having multiple men come into this place for their care each time I've been. It feels like active homophobia. It is 2024, and going into a business where you feel this type of energy is truly disgraceful. It's belittling and terrible in every sense of the word. I had an appointment for this nail salon and still had to wait a bit. That and the fact they're on the high price end is why I gave 4 stars. Other than that the place was fantastic! The girl who did my nails was great she did exactly what I asked for and it came out better than expected. I got a french gel manicure, 1 nail fix and nail art. I just walked out of Luyi Nail Spa, and I'm on another planet! This was the best pedicure experience I've ever had. It doesn't look like much from the outside, so I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of service I received. I got the $55 honey pedicure, and my tech, Maggie, made it worth every penny. It includes a 20 minute massage, and I'm very ticklish on my feet and calves, but she skillfully modified the pressure so I was able to tolerate it. Whether you prefer a light or more forceful touch, she can do it! I think the nicest (and most surprising) part of this experience was the upper body massage Maggie gave me while my toes were drying. You know how they usually give you a light 30 second rub and say thank you, have a nice day? Not here. Maggie massaged me for a couple minutes at least, and *really* got into some knots and totally released the tension in my shoulders and neck. Thanks for a wonderful experience! read more

This is my favorite place to get a pedicure but be warned...their polish chips because they thin their polish out too much. I always bring my own bottle of polish and topcoat. I reapply the top coat at home a few days later to lengthen the polish. I would give them more stars and get manicures there if they fixed their polish situation. I love the hot stone pedicure. Traveling for work, found this on Yelp. Hot stone pedicure. No wait but I am here at 10am on a Wednesday. I prefer a stronger massage but it was nice. She was fast and efficient and did a nice clean job. Free shoulder massage while drying but don't get too excited, it's a minute or so long. You can pay $1/minute and her hands were strong enough that I was tempted (different woman than my pedicure). ..on closer inspection, they could have been done a bit more neatly. After drying, I was left to my own devices. I prefer when someone comes back over, checks to see if they're dry, unravels the cotton from my toes. As I was leaving no one even glanced up at me or said thanks or goodbye. I paid $35 and tipped $5 in cash, as they prefer. Oh well read more

This is my first time ever leaving a negative review but the experience I just had was terrible. I went to Luyi three days ago and got a regular manicure. The nail tech seemed rushed and didn't let my nail dry between class. She also didn't apply thick coats that covered my nails completely. Beyond that it's three days later and I noticed that almost every single one of my nails is chipped. I decided to go back to the salon and see if they would re-paint them for free but they refused to provide that service saying that chipping was something that happened in three days for regular nails. It is unbelievable that I paid $20 for a manicure to chip three days later when I haven't done anything to warrant my nails chipping. I did not work at all these last three days, and it is absurd that my nails would chip completely in that amount of time. If you want a good manicure, avoid Luyi. read more

Went here for a mani pedi. Got gel on my nails and regular polish on my toes. The color selection was really good and seemed to be mostly OPI gel so it's quality stuff. The woman who did my nails helped me match my nail & toe colors almost perfectly! My only disappointment was one of my big toe nails is cut kind of crooked. We have been opting for the acrylics and they are just perfect. I use my hands very aggressively for working around the house and I can't believe I can have beautiful nails still at the end of my days. This place does a great job. Very clean, friendly and attentive staff and the massage chairs are amazing! It's a bit pricey $40 for a regular mani/pedi but they did such a nice job it was well worth it. They are very busy on Saturdays not as busy on Sundays. Would definitely recommend. read more

Waited awhile to get seated for my appointment at 2pm. The man put my acrylic on and then just left me in the chair for 10 minutes. Came back put the polish on. I also was getting a pedicure. He sat me in a chair with no water in the tub so I was just sitting there bare feet no water. 20 mins pass and a woman comes up to do my toes. does the toes but barely scrubs my feet. I almost thought she wasn't going to put lotion on my legs but right at the end she grazes my legs with lotion. Nice little spot, the do nail pretty good. Reason for the 4 stars is that they request tips in cash, I didn't have cash so I was able to leave the tip on my card. I was not greeted when I first walked in. They spoke amongst themselves then asked me what I wanted to get done. I didn't have to wait at all got seated for a pedi right away. I upgraded to the hot stone massage but not really worth it. Regular pedi should've been fine. I then wanted a gel manicure and I had to soak off the nails I originally had on. Which took some time which I thought should've been done while my feet got done to shorten time but I was in on rush so it didn't bother me. Gel manicure was Peggy did a great job and she also gave me a mini massage on my shoulders in which I asked if I can get a 10 min one instead. I don't recommend this place to anyone. Service is horrible. I went on January 12 and got a refill and gel Polish. Here it is now January 17 and my nail Polish is chipped and my filling looks horrible. I went back to the owner Frank and he basically tells me that is normal for gel Polish to chip and I will have to pay for a Color change. That is straight bullshit . My nails were looking horrible and I still let him do a color change. I will never go here again and never will I send anybody here for service. They suck!!!!!! read more
