The venue is stunning and it hardly needs any decorations to feel complete. The gorgeous brick wall and string lighting steal the show. It's a perfect open floor plan with space for over 200 guests. The kitchen is tucked away in the corner providing an industrial sink, microwave, ice maker, and fridge/freezer, making it easy to store and prepare food for your event. The bar also includes a beverage cooler, bar sink for washing glasses, and plenty of shelves for storing alcohol. The venue is always cleaned, bathrooms always fully stocked, and tables and chairs provided by Cynthia making the planning process such a breeze. Cynthia is a dream to work with. She is super communicative with times available for picking up and dropping off keys. She provided us with a detailed walk through of the venue before our event, letting us know how to turn on lights and ac/heater unit. She let us know where to find everything we would need. She was so generous with time to set up and break down for our event both times that we've rented with her and we couldn't be more appreciative and happy with our experience each time. I'll always recommend this venue to anyone looking.

We were visiting Angels Camp for the weekend, and with the sun out, we knew we had to get a round…read morein at Greenhorn Creek. The course itself is quite challenging due to the tight fairways and fast greens. Outside of the bunkers, the course is pretty well maintained, even during the winter months. Lots of the par 5s are reachable in 2, some long challenging par 4s, and unique par 3s that are short but tough. During the winter months, they do a 10AM shotgun style play, which means all groups start on different holes and the same time. We finished in under 4.5 hours, played a decent pace throughout the round. The morning of our round there was a frost delay, and they sent a text to let us know ahead of time which was nice. We play here a few times a year, mostly in the spring/summer where it can get really hot. Playing in the spring/summer is nice here because a lot of times it's not super busy, and the course plays quick. They have a solid driving range and putting greens for practice. Overall, love playing here, never a bad time, and is always a challenging course to test your golf skills.

Perfectly Peaceful…read more My husband and I recently spent several days at GRI. From the first glimpse of this Tuscany-like villa, we knew we were in for an incredible experience. Our suite (one of five) was absolutely stunning. The Innkeeper (the first of three amazing Innkeepers) had the gas fireplace lit, and wonderful instrumental music playing, as she showed us our suite. The food was phenomenal: gourmet breakfasts, 5:00 wine and cheese, and homemade cookies in the evening. My favorite part was the patio with a fire pit overlooking the vineyard. From the linens to the décor, super luxurious accommodations set amongst acres of vineyards, each suite with it's own private deck overlooking Tuscany-style views in the heart of Amador wine country. Our host, Linda, made an incredible stay that much more homey. Each morning's breakfast was a feast, seated outside on the covered patio with stunning views. The meals were uber fresh (filling enough that we skipped lunch both days!). Every day around 5 you're treated to wine and cheese. Perfect location to wine taste on property or venture out to the growing number of top rated wineries. Walk amongst the vineyards or take out one the beach cruisers or trikes for a ride around. At night, the fire pits are a nice touch, or just lounge on you private deck for a sunset and a moonset. Looking forward to our return!
