It's located in a very cute building which is around 400 years old. The atmosphere is quite unique owing to the subtle lighting and tasteful decor. The food is the star of the show however. I was recommended their signature dishes as I am sure you will when you visit. The menu isn't that comprehensive, but focuses on key dishes such as burgers, nachos, Cuban pork sandwiches, and chicken wings. I ordered a chicken, guac and bacon burger which was larger than expected; coupled with ox cheek mac & cheese and I was totally stuffed afterwards. Behind the bar they have five choices of keg beers, with the likes of BrewDog and Magic Rock (it's always good to get those on tap). It's schooners here though, so no pints unfortunately. On first impressions it's a solid, well thought out family-friendly diner - may they beckon in Sale's long overdue restaurant renaissance!

I opted for a mushroom and pesto stone baked pizza, which had a crisp base and a perfectly crunchy crust. The sauce was very flavoursome and the toppings plentiful. I enjoyed every mouthful. To drink I had not one, but two Mai Thai cocktails (afterall it was Friday), which were both mixed to perfection, with a handful of ice, the sweetness of pineapple juice and the warmth of plenty of rum.
