As…read morevisitors from out of state, we were pleasantly surprised with the cool decor and contemporary atmosphere of this spot. I thoroughly enjoyed my french dip melt sandwich - the roast beef was soft and had great flavor mixed with peppers, the au jus on the side was decent (better than expected). My boyfriend's chicken quesadilla was good - just average, but no complaints. The jumbo cinnamon sugar pretzel was a nice dessert, and it's great that they didn't skimp on the size of the side cups of sweet dip. Our cocktails were alright, lacking in flavor a little bit, and didn't taste (or feel afterwards) like there was any alcohol in them at all. We sat at the bar on a rainy Friday night and service was fast - there were only two other other couples at the bar and no guests at tables, so I can't speak on how service would be on a busy night.

Inside has a lot of cars everywhere, so it was very similar to pizza shop in my area. Very neat, but not in there for too long. We got cheese curds and wings. We were able to select all flats which is an awesome choice to make. The cheese curds were not traditional, where they are pressed into solid shapes and are "squeaky". Instead they don't press it and leave it loose. Which lead to a kinda airy cheese curds with a ton of cheesy flavor. Those were wonderful. The wings were perfectly cooked and the sauces had some heat but not too crazy. Good flavor, and ample portions. As a greasy spoon pit stop, it hits all the right notes. It's not glamorous eats, but they are good eats while on the road. Get wet naps, and give this place a try if you can.

We prefer dining at the bar and chose the front bar because it was quiet and featured live acoustic music, which created a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service did not match the setting. While the bartender was polite, she seemed disengaged throughout the evening, and the pace of service was surprisingly slow considering how uncrowded the restaurant was. Our first beers arrived in glasses that had an unpleasant odor, similar to a damp towel, suggesting they may not have been properly cleaned or that the draft lines needed attention. We also waited about 30 minutes to place our food order and another 30 minutes for it to arrive. We weren't in a hurry, but the wait seemed excessive given the light crowd. On the positive side, the food arrived hot, and the wings were well prepared. They were cooked properly, generously coated in sauce, and tasted very good. We've dined here before and had much better experiences, which made this visit especially disappointing. In hindsight, the unusually empty front and back bars on a Friday night may have been an indication that something was off. Overall, the wings were good, but the service fell well below expectations. At the current price point, there are several local establishments offering wings of similar quality with noticeably better service. We're willing to give this restaurant another chance because of our previous positive experiences, but this visit left us underwhelmed.
