All the staff here are so nice and amazing. They greeted us from the moment we walked in. I had spoken to the owner on Facebook when I was making the reservation and told her that we had a 5 week old baby and thought I might be bringing him. We needed up having Mom babysit so we could have a date. At least two employees asked about my son and why we didn't bring him. We felt almost like we were family right from the start. I can't wait to come back when they do another meal in a couple weeks! So to start, the only serve meals about twice a month. When they do, there is a dinner from 6-8 on Friday, a brunch from 11-2 and a dinner from 6-8 on Friday and that's it. You need to make a reservation the week prior or the week of. While marking your reservation you will place your order for the entree and whether or not you want desert, which I definitely recommend. When you show up for your meal, there will be a table reserved for you with your name on it, no turned tables here. You can walk around their little boutique until you are ready to sit down. We explored a little first. The architecture on the walls and ceiling are beautiful and will have you looking at them throughout your experience here. The first course will be a fresh baked croissant with homemade cherry butter. Next course is a succulent deep sea scallop on top of Napa cabbage covered in a bourbon glaze. The third course is a salad made from spiral cut zucchini and squash with heirloom tomatoes, dried cranberries, walnuts, and smothered in a velvety, cream goat cheese dressing. Then for the main course, we chose the chicken cordon bleu crepes and the hamburger Wellington. Both were out of this world good. The hamburger, which I had was probably 8-10oz at least, covered in caramelized onions and I believe chanterelle mushrooms, all inside a decadent flaky pastry. What I got at A&B etc for $30 was a young lady (14 years old?) acting as waitress handing me a 10 cent Bigelow tea bag, and a small amount of food. I got about a half a sandwich, two meringues, two macarons, and a scone the size of an oreo cookie. I have never seen such a small scone before, they are typically the size of bagels. Had I paid $10, I would have thought "oh well, whatever", but paying $30 seemed like a rip off. Should the owners see this review, I hope they will take this as constructive feedback and make changes. I would love to attend a quality High Tea locally, and hope that the business continues to grow and improve.

It consisted of eggs, toast, juice, milk, etc. Instead of buffet style, they had a couple of nice ladies handing out food. Breakfast was consistent with other Holiday Inns we've stayed at. They have a coffee bar with tea and hot chocolate that you can take advantage of even after breakfast hours. The dining room was packed that morning. Check-out was also a breeze. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and helpful. Since we were only there for such a short period, we didn't get a chance to check out the amenities so I can't speak for those.

Check in made me feel VERY welcome - I know housekeeping has changed with the pandemic so instead of getting service during my (2 night) stay, I asked for 3 additional towels which I received without issue. - No one killed me in my sleep during my stay (I've had doubts with other stays) - Breakfast was awesome like expected. Hard to beat a Holiday Inn breakfast The Bad: - The clientele is loud to no end - The floors are sticky because the clientele have spilled sticky drinks EVERYWHERE - There are empty wrappers in the stairwell because the clientele doesn't respect the property The elevator is super slow and it jerks when you get on and press the desired floor button - One of the side entrances doesn't work no matter how many times you swipe your key and the lock accepts your key I can't see myself staying here again it's not because of the hotel itself but the clientele it caters to. There are lots of hotels in the area making this place nothing special.
