Completely agree with previous reviewer Sara at Anne Summers; this hotel is excellent value for spacious, modern, clean and well appointed rooms with all mod cons (including a pair of GHDs, whatever they are, for the ladies according to Sara daren't think). Friendly helpful and efficient staff and check in. Free Wi-Fi in lounge area and free cabled internet access in the rooms. Really nice full breakfast, even choice of hot porridge (plain with no sugar, just right), wide selection of fresh fruits, juices, cold buffet and of course full English from the self service trays. (Self service can sometimes be dried out, tired but not here all freshly cooked and topped up constantly with piping hot replacements including delicious black pudding, herb sausages and succulent portobello mushrooms. You won't need another meal for a week after that lot.) Tumble out of the back entrance of Manchester Piccadilly railway station, across the road and under the bridge, there it is, couldn't be closer to scuttle through the Manchester rain excellent, highly recommended. read more
