My advice: *If it is too expensive and you fear that it may not be worth the money stick with the cheaper apps *Yes, the company does have a smooth sales approach, but everything we purchase these days has to be "buyer beware". No one forces you to join. *Expect the unexpected. Some of the matches may make no sense to you at all (I had a couple of those) but it is your job to communicate that with your matchmaker. Sorely disappointed. In the initial interview I can see now that it was a big sales pitch and things were misrepresented. My "coach" Rachel was snitty at best. She felt it was unreasonable to expect contact weekly, even if was just a text to say they're still working on things. After a few weeks I received an email asking for my input on the process so far. I was honest. My coach Rachel was the one who responded to the input..... (inappropriate) and I found her to be defensive and aggressive instead of trying to resolve what was wrong. I felt like a child being scolded. She is not currently available ............... what ever that means.... I have no "coach" assigned at this time and the most recent person to call sounded like it was a bother to even talk to me. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This is 100 percent complete fraud. I joined end of June 2024 and I've regretted every day since. They sell you a complete line of BS. The matches are a complete grab bag of the other people they have frauded. Nothing based on being a match. I spent weeks, yes weeks, trying to contact my Matchmaker, to no reply. She had promised me a call from her supervisor because I was so unhappy with the service and quality of matches at that point. That call didn't come for over a month. I called, texted and emailed and she wouldn't respond to me. I had to finally call and just start picking extensions until someone answered. And when the supervisor responded after 1 weeks time she just talked in circles and made excuses. One date said he joined in 2019 and had only been on 5 dates. Others said they get matched and when the match doesn't responded or show that still counts as your date. Soooooo you just paid about 1000 dollars to be stood up. Not worth the money. They interview you and apparently disregard what you have discussed as your objectives and desires. When they mislead you about a potential match and you make contact only to find out there is nothing in common, to bad that counts as a match. When they set you up with a match that is physically not near what you described, sorry that is a match. I think there mode is just match no matter we got the money and the client has no recourse. I thought surely a personalized matchmaker would be better at making meaningful connections than the apps but that's just straight up not true. I signed up for a "trial" plan that yielded three matches who were no more of a match than three random people I might pass on the street. When I tried to escalate my concerns after my second and very poor match, I was told there was no recourse. I was met with excuses, missed calls, and was even told it would take over a week to speak with a manager. My first date was someone wildly incompatible--a man who openly said he'd been on many dates through this service. (I guess he's their go-to for anyone in my age range?) Worst place ever and oh what a joke! They sucker you by selling you a load of bs in the very beginning, taking all sorts of detailed information from you and promising you everything but Pluto. They say give them some time and they'll reach with a match. First "match" guy was already done and told me so. Didn't want to chat on phone sent me a text and point blank asked for a picture as he was done wasting time. Called the company and they said well he's your first match and they'd find someone else. I agree with the others. I got scammed by this company. They pressured me into signing up as the deal "was only good at that time". I made it very clear I don't want kids yet they matched me with 2 men who wanted them. I also made it very clear about my religious preferences and they disregarded those. Same as others here expressing their distain w/this company, I've never, in my life experienced such misrepresentation of services and at a costly price. I chose this route because of experiences I had w/online dating. I went to the Cranford, NJ office where I met Janet back in March of this year. I was told no one can come w/me into the offices (now I know why). She listened intently, showing a "concern" about the experiences I had with relationships. She probed into my life as if she cared about my experiences in order to exploit the empathy card. I filled out all the paperwork w/the characteristics of the men I'd be attracted to and gave her my cc. I left there thinking she's got me. She got me alright. After several days of no one contacting me, I reached out to my mm. I told her specifically what I'm looking for. Without going into the details (which are outlined so eloquently by other reviews), my mm set me up w/men that WERE NOT what was in my Bio. Just to preference, these were all nice men. I was even lied to about the ethnicity of the men whom I met. I went as far as challenging based on the name given me but was assured otherwise. I was also set up w/a man who had recently lost his wife, who, in my opinion, looked exhausted and was not mentally ready to date (they must have conned him too). I wrote such scathing feedback of my dates, calling out the mm not adhering to my bio, that someone from another office assured me they'd get things right. I never got contacted by anyone after that conversation. Their "elite" division also contacted me based on my bio (I did not pay for this). The mm contacted me via phone and she "jacked" this guy so high, I agreed to meet. I was sent a picture w/his approval (which doesn't happen in the 'average joe' division) and I declined the date (millionaire status doesn't impress me). This company and its employees took a gaslighting course; painting a picture that, in reality, doesn't exist. Don't be fooled by their kind words and empathetic ear. Your wallet shouldn't be opened by emotions, nor should it be taken advantage of by a con-artist/sales person. Walk away. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. They did not deliver as promised. After the first scam artist [extensive criminal record] they set me up with [match #1] I requested my money back. No stars to give this company at all. From my perspective, this company promises curated matches but that was not my experience at all. They will spend several hours interviewing you, so of course you will get sucked right into thinking that they will be finding quality matches for specifically designed to meet some of your expressed wishes. Instead, you wait months, and eventually matched with whoever eventually turns up that satisfies the most basic requirements (like the geographic area and age range you are looking for.) The matches I were given seemed to have just about NOTHING at all I was looking for. After a few tries, I decided it wasn't even worth my time to continue with them, so I cancelled and "lost" whatever remaining number of matches I had left. Not a big loss at all. I requested a refund, but didn't expect it and didn't give it. Not to say these guys don't have money. Do Not Sign A Contract With This Company!!!! I reviewed this company a few months ago and it only gotten worse. They only want your money and will not fulfill their promises of finding you someone! The way it works is you get an interview with someone who is basically a salesperson and she tells you that they have plenty of people that meet your preferences and that it will be easy to set you up. You sign a contract and pay the agreed upon price for the agreed upon number of matches. Then they assign you a matchmaker who is not given all of the information about you that was collected in your initial interview. They introduce you to people that do not meet your preferences and when you complain to a manager they say "well you can't plug in your preferences into a computer and pop out a person". Basically contradicting what the salesperson at the initial interview process says to you. I've been set up with multiple men that didn't meet my preferences or seriously had problems. Most were either socially awkward as in couldn't carry a phone conversation, were blatantly rude, or just very creepy. The last person I was set up with was creepy to the point where I had to decline an in-person date with him and he started yelling at me over the phone. I ended up blocking his number after he tried to call me back multiple times. He ended up leaving threatening voicemails on my phone from a different phone number that were so severe I had to file a report to the police. My personal matchmaker with the company was very apologetic and caring over the situation, but the management at that company was completely unhelpful and extremely disrespectful. Larry the manager called me when I asked my matchmaker if I could get a refund due to this extreme situation, and told me no. He was not the slightest bit remorseful over the situation, interrupted me while I was talking to say it's not his company's fault, said I'm not getting any money back, and said the conversation was basically over.
