This is by far one of the best cocktail bars I have been to- in London and the states! If you like hand-crafted cocktails that are fun to watch them make and delicious, then this is the place for you! They have amazing liquor selections (white chocolate vodka or mustard vodka anyone?), draft beers and plenty of wines. For the quality of the drinks, the prices are very reasonable. I could've spent all day here drinking! The bartenders are very funny and enjoyable. This place does get quite packed and no food.

Nice cocktail bar at the corner street with an interesting menu of drinks. Don't miss their 2 for 1 cocktails! Time to get drunk *hic*

It's a good place to take a quick break. I did not find the hostess to be friendly at all she seemed like she could have cared less. The bartender was friendly and attentive. Honestly I will stop in the cheese and wine place next door before going to this place again.

Wow I don't even know to start with this place! So I had the pleasure of date night there and it was just so much fun! The cocktail menu is out of this world! We tried a few of the cocktails and struck gold with all of our choices. The chilli infused gun with lychee was a moreish pink liquid which was so sweet and easy to drink, it barely tasted alcoholic. Yum! The ginger cocktail came in a cute glass with a brown mesh covering, which was a quirky touch! If you like ginger, this is a must have! The Bellini combine peach and nectarine liquor which was a slight different twist, but just ok, so I wouldn't necessarily get that again, as I feel it wasn't a stand out drink. If you like hot, hot, hot cocktails, then you gotta order the Walter Collins, which is a chilli and pisco mash up drink! Wowww is that hot. It's a kinda pisco sour with a spicy touch! I like spice, so it was good, although I have to say I would have swapped for the pink lychee drink... Seating wise it's so sparse, it's unreal, given how popular it is and I definitely think they need to consider more seating. All in all, it's a cool pub and they run a happy hour on a weekend, which is a winner for me! I've knocked it down to the lack of seating and also the female toilets being up a big flight of stairs.. All this said though, I'll definitely make another visit..

This was such a lovely pub for my families first British pub experience! Everyone was very friendly. Their pints were decently priced and delicious!

Gorgeous pub serving great cocktails. Happy hour 8-9pm weekdays. Gets quite busy so book a table if your planning a visit. Loved my chilli lychee martini. Lovely high street too and close to regents park. Serves lots of amazing drinks and is not too noisey so you can chat but still has a great atmosphere.

Buyer beware at the bar. Bartender diluted a neat whiskey for both drinks by over 50% and the manager did not seem surprised at all.

The single most unfriendly pub in the British isles. Lousy beer, no atmosphere, and surly service.

The interior is nothing special - but simplicity can be good. The cocktails, however, are great. Big fan of the espresso martinis.

Flew in on a Sunday and arrived at my hotel around noon. Remarkable, he scored and I literally walked around the corner and saw the long line to get into the pub first. I was seated immediately, however, and proceeded to enjoy a traditional Sunday Roast. Room was very pleasant (there are so many I got lost returning to my table from a bio brake. Roast was very good ( but no Lawry's) and the sides excellent. Could not decide if my favorite was the roast potatoes (crispy outside soft inside) or the glazed carrots. Yorkshire pudding was good but again, I am to used to the Lawry's and this is a different style. Peas were, well, peas, but very fresh. The sticky toffee cake was excellent and the Guinness fresh, creamy and a proper pour. Good thing because the selection of winners by the glass and half bottles of wine were both a little thin. Overall wine list was good but I was alone and not up for drinking a full bottle by myself. Overall, very enjoyable and to judge by the crowd and difficulty in getting a reservation, one of the more popular in town.

The history alone makes it worth visiting, and the location is perfect if you're exploring the area. It feels very classic London in the best way. We stopped in for a pint and honestly... the whole after-work beer culture over there is something I really need to bring back with me to the States. The beer was great, the atmosphere was lively without feeling overwhelming, and it just felt like one of those places where people naturally gather and stay awhile. Definitely worth stopping into if you're in the area.

Two story space - the ground floor feature the bar and handles walk in lunch; the upstairs is a dining room for those with reservations. Fun fact, as part of the history, the pub used to be the host of bare knuckle fights and had regulars like Charles Dickens. Wildfarmed sourdough - served with whipped salted butter and Guinness butter. Well toasted bread and the butters with salt were well made. Fuller's London Pride marinated steak and ale pie - served with seasonal veggies and red wine gravy, as well as either mash potatoes or triple cooked chips. If there is one dish London does really well, it's their pies. It was beautifully made and loaded with steak. The red wine gravy was decadent and added a perfect amount of moisture to the pie. Triple cooked chips were perfectly crispy but fluffy on the inside. Corn fed chicken breast - served with garlic and sage butter, mash potato, cavolo nero, and crispy onions. Only took a bite of this as it was my partner's dish but the bite of chicken I had was very juicy and well seasoned.
