The Marina Lodge was in a beautiful location overlooking the lake. Food was very good for a reasonable price however the service was second to none. Our server, Robin, was simply amazing. Service was impeccable and very attentive to our needs. Her personality and humor was beyond expectation. She made our dining experience a very memorable one. Nice bar but it may be too nice. It just feels a little sterile and needs more personality. It is in a great location with a fantastic view and the service is good but it's very bright and doesn't feel like the honey bars that I enjoy. read more

The food was fantastic as was the service. We are new to the area and the waitress went above and beyond at answering our questions about the lakes and what fairmont has to offer. I cannot forget the view it was nice! I should mention we had two waitresses as one was new and she also did a fantastic job! read more

We came here to eat however the kitchen is closed at 8, so beware of that. It was a bummer because we would have stayed longer to have drinks and listen to music but we were too hungry. We had 1 drink, listened to music and took off. So I can not judge the food! The location is really nice. Decent outdoor music and ambiance. Service is a bit slow, I'd recommend ordering inside and bringing your own drinks out. read more

The Marina Lodge is a fun place to eat at in the summer time. The outdoor patio gives you a perfect view of beautiful Lake Sisseton. The Marina Lodge also features live bands throughout the summer. Came across this gem on Google Maps while traveling on 90 one night and was glad we skipped the standard everyday venues. Upon arriving it was a very small building but it offers very nice outdoor seating (I can't imagine we'd have the same great experience if sitting outdoors wasn't an option, although the inside was quite nice, just a tad small). The view was great and the overall environment was very pleasant. The wait staff was very nice and outgoing and was very attentive to our needs. Went in for a drink with some friends after a local fundraiser. The owner was there and was so drunk he couldn't stand or talk. He got into the face of one of my friends because he thought he was someone else. After about ten minutes of getting abused by the owner we left. Will never return again. Pathetic read more

We live locally and wanted to try a new place. The food was really very nice. Our waitress was quick, checked in with us just the restaurant right number of times, and we never felt rushed. We found this place when we were out traveling home. It was a fun place to get lunch! It's very rustic but we sat outside and had a beautiful view of the lake. The food was delicious and our waitress was super friendly. We would make a point to stop here again if we ever get in this area again. We split the blue cheese chicken wrap with French fries. What can I say about my experience there? The level of service seems 5 Star. The bartenders concoct drinks that are flavorful and well worth the prices. The ambiance is not comparable to another in the region. The winter months are a little slow for business but they make a pond hockey rink where the docks are usually placed. The atmosphere was great and the place was clean. What made this the 5 star exception instead of the 3 1/2 star it really is was the staff, especially my waitress. Worst place ever - rude staff, drunk and disorderly patrons and terrible live music. Do not go out of your way for this place it's a local watering hole and that's it. I watched the bartender handle garbage and then serve food without washing her hands. The lake view was nice and if I just wanted to drink beer and smoke cigarettes I'd be at the right place. read more
