Beware, if you ever feel like you are tresspassing into somebody elses territory, this place is probably not for you. An old mans style pub in Otley, it is popular with the locals, and if I'm honest, upon entry, I did feel as though I was infringing on their space, something that did not sit comfortably with me on a winters afternoon. If however, you want a taste of traditional Yorkshire, complete with its pitfalls and whatnot, this place might well be perfect to you. A Thwaites pub through and through, they generally serve 3 ales, a dark mild, a bitter and a guest ale.
If you go in the summertime, there is a bit of a suntrap at the back, making the experience far more pleasant, and they put on regular traditional folk nights. read more
