They said their reasonable accommodation was calling beforehand to say she won't be served. I was also rudely talked to and hung up on. The first time I had a haircut there I opted for one of the "lower level" stylists for a more budget friendly cost. I actually had to return because one of the experienced stylists was cutting one side of my hair and someone who hadn't done that kind of cut before was doing the other side. So I came back and had the more experienced stylist do both sides and it came out terrific. I came back a second time and had my hair highlighted and added a bold color with a cut. I had so many compliments on it. It looked outstanding. The third appt went pretty good. Hair was not as outstanding as the previous time but still get compliments on it. However, I had an appointment for one of their specials to do a scalp treatment and a facial for $60. Unfortunately, that morning, I woke up with a very bad sinus headache and had to go into work late. So that I wouldn't lose money on my job, I decided I better work late so I had decided to cancel my appointment to keep the boss happy and wasn't sure when to rebook it. They told me I would have to pay double that $60 charge -- $120 for the regular price. This was pretty surprising and disappointing considering I had been very happy with the customer service I've received up until that point. All of the girls there have been very nice. After talking to my boss, she told me that I could go after all. I couldn't get through to anybody during lunch so when I finally got through to someone at 2 PM I was told that the appointment was filled, but that they were still going to try to charge me or that I couldn't come back to the salon for services. I felt like this was an unfair policy and that $120 is a very steep cancellation fee considering the special was for $60 and that's all the stylist would have made from me anyway. So at this point, I'm not sure I would recommend the salon or not sadly. I never knew they would charge me for canceling especially that much more than I was planning to play for the service.

I found Kelsey through instagram and I liked that set style seemed to match mine and she didn't seem to over edit her pictures so I could trust them. She also had a good bio on her site so I felt good about booking my trim with her. My hair was all uneven and needed shaping and she totally nailed it. My hair feels great and she didn't try to oversell me to buy products or extra services I didn't need. I love how my hair turned out and I know I've found my new go to person. I'm thankful to have found her!
