She has…read morehelped me overcome so much adversity in my life but mainly coming to terms with my fertility issues. My relationship with my husband have gotten better through the therapy sessions as well. She is neutral ground for us and isn't bias towards my husband or I which we appreciate. We focus on our issues (mainly mine) and helped me uncover possible reasons why I feel the way I do or think the way I do. Apparently I have a lot of buried trauma which I need to work on. When we first started we saw her nearly every 2 weeks but now it's about once a month. We have been extremely busy but still want to make the attempt to see her at least monthly. She is very accommodating and understanding of our situation. She is very welcoming. The safe place is in the room which she is always reminds us and I appreciate that. I really appreciate her for not judging me or my husband. She listens to us and addresses the issues. We're both comfortable talking to her. It helps that my husband is open to it and more than willing to continue the sessions with me so long as I need it. America is very supportive of us. The price is quite reasonable for a 90-minute session. She has weekend (Saturday) available which is extremely helpful since my husband and I are busy throughout the week days. There's only really street parking. When it's busy you may have to park further up the street but the walk isn't terrible.

Could have given them a phone call. I feel it's done on purpose. The system has a way of helping you and hurting u at the same time, intentionally. This is the same facility who just has a staff member having an intimate relationship with one of the minors housed here. Something needs to be done about how these kids are dealt with. I shared these things with 1 person every Wednesday for 1 whole year. 1 hour sessions. I am a transformed butterfly. That is corny, yes I know!, and that's why I put it. The staff was always so welcoming, very soft spoken, the room was always filled with tea bags, a new dresser, books, posters on the wall, famous motivational quotes hand written on little chalkboards, translated in Spanish as well. The place transformed as well during the year. It started with a poster of a woman walking up steps and it says you burn so many calories walking up the steps. It always stuck with me! Like, she was litteraly always walking, it was so amazing, life made sense at that moment. I tell lissete. Hey lissete that girl is always walking huh?. She's like yeah. She always walking. We both kinda laughed. It was a nice moment. My therapist [anonymous], wasn't like any therapist I had been too ever before. (Anon) was more of a let me make you think things in a different perspective. I would walk out mad, there were times I wanted out, times I didn't want to show up, but I learned to face my problems here and actually deal with them and come home and apply these things in my personal life. My last session was inadvertently cut off by 2 weeks so I had my last session this past Wednesday. I admitted there was some type of issue and problem I had, I just needed to figure out which ones to admit to :). I learned about sanity and insanity. Learned to be more calm, meditate, cry, be sensitive, be a real person, be myself, and not be a sarcastic person to deflect what I really want to say, but I need time to figure it out, so I act this was kinda deal. These things and so much more have composed me into a song that I'm ready to sing. I am ready to live my life and if I'm going to cry then I will and so be it. I learbed how to be happy and manage my feelings. Thank you guys! All of you. The staff everyone. I don't know all of your names. Also for my case worker, thank you for always being so kind and very supportive and encouraging, and being yourself, for helping me out, and making it easier to open up about things that I couldn't do in the beginning.
