I answered a couple of her questions wrong because I heard different. Her words were garbled and I felt like she was mumbling. I thought she asked me "Have you had anything to eat today?" - I answered "Fruit" lol. She actually said "Are you in any pain today?". Instead of repeating her question to say it clearly, she proceeded to say "do you need a translator?" and seemed very annoyed. English is my first language. She was extremely rude and made me feel threatened. I asked for a different nurse and she threw a fit. I reiterated the incident to Dr. Kraft. Ironically, Dr. asked me (clearly) "Have you had anything to eat today?" After she asked me that...I laughed and I told her what happened with the nurse. Dr. Kraft kindly said the (rude af) nurse may have been talking too fast because she has to ask the same questions to different patients. We all have things that stress us out and make us a little crazy. But picking a job that requires you to take care of patients and their wellbeing means you don't get to be lazy about trying your best to put some kind of effort to even be just a little compassionate to those who require your care. That should be your first goal tbh. It was my first time meeting Dr. Kraft - a very kind and sweet Dr - she deserves 10 stars. This review is specifically for the incompetent nurse. She helped other people before providing me with the information I needed, and when I asked where the complaint box was, she completely ignored me afterward. I've visited this hospital many times for myself and my children, and both of my children were born here. I've never experienced this type of treatment before. To make a patient with chest pains, and critically low oxygen levels that was sent over from Urgent Care wait three hours behind drunks, animal bites, colds and flu etc. is ridiculous, that was incompetence at its peak. To not allow her husband to accompany her when her chart Clearly states that she is having memory issues, is uncaring. To allow other non-Black patients to accompany family members afterwards to Triage , is racist! I was 7 months pregnant at the time and couldn't support my son the way he needed - and they stepped up. Recently, I had to go to the emergency room for myself and had the most amazing doctor. He actually took the time to talk with me like a person. I told him I had autism and that I was struggling to communicate. So he slowed down to make sure I got the support I needed. Even their security guard was super kind. He noticed I was wavering on my feet and got me a chair. We talked about tattoos until they called me in, which really helped my nervous system. And the nurse was really kind, with amazing shimmering shoes lol. We joked that I was taking shots since all my medication was liquid. This is where I go for any emergency needs my family has, and it has stepped up every time.

During the first week of meds, I emailed him via the Santa Clara Valley Health, "My Health Online: email. No answer. I found out at my next visit that he doesn't get those emails for "some reason" and he gave e a card with his personal email address, which I have since found to be incorrect. He also gave me his cell phone #, and I thought what a caring thing this was. Well, I left a message at 5:30 that I was ready to begin the new med, according to his instructions. He had asked me to call. I was going through horrible withdrawals which he promised I wouldn't go through. He called me back the next day at 1:30 in the afternoon, when I was unable to come to the phone saying he was :"just checking up on me." This man abuses time with his patients. It is a chronic thing. So far, I have not waited LESS than an hour and a half. I asked his nurse how far apart his patients are booked. She said an hour! This is abusive to me. When I told him so, he threatened to throw me out of the program. Tonight, I have 102 fever and I'm not sure I can take aspirin with these new meds. I tried to email. The email came back, it's incorrect. My fever did rise to 103. degrees and I realized I was going through withdrawal. I left another message for Dr. Chavez a little over a week ago. He called me back today, asking me what other drugs he prescribed for me and their dosages. He had waken me and it took me a bit to get my wits about me, as one of the extreme symptoms I am experiencing is severe disorientation and hallucinations. The longer he had to wait, the more he talked and and the louder his voice got. I was trying to finish a sentence. I had lookup up Buprenorphine online and it said a patient with COPD should NEVER take this drug. I have copd and another problem with my eyes that should prevent me from taking this drug. Dr. Chavez YELLED at me from the lounge in the airport "not to read anything or listen to anyone to just do what he says" and kept repeating that until he was screaming so loud his voice was cracking! This is a bad man. I read in one of the reviews that he sleeps between patients and in fact on his own block he writes that he used to be addicted to opioids and got himself off using this regime. I suspect he still uses the drugs. I cannot explain his out of place outburst any other way.

Dr. Sun is incredibly attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely interested in his patients' well-being. Instead of checking my insurance immediately, the front-desk staff had me complete approximately 15 pages of new-patient paperwork. After I finished everything and waited another 15 minutes, I was finally told that the clinic was not in network with my insurance. This was incredibly frustrating and upsetting because insurance coverage was the very first question I asked before coming in. My sick toddler and I lost valuable time when he needed to be seen as quickly as possible. It would have taken only a few minutes to verify the insurance before requiring me to complete extensive paperwork. Perhaps the doctor provides excellent care, but the staff needs better training on how to handle urgent situations involving young, sick children. There was no sense of urgency, compassion, or respect for our time. Based on this experience, I would not recommend bringing your child here as a new patient without independently confirming your insurance coverage first.

I had a bit of a wait to see my doctor but people need to realize what a change the medical profession has had post pandemic and that most issues are insurance or government regulatory related. I.e. if the regulatory push lowers the age some one needs to be screen then the amount of new patients that are within that age bracket increases the patient-to-doctor ratio. Regardless I had a good experience with my physical today and I didn't have to do the "cough" test so that was a bonus. I feel rating a medical professional organizations is really a zero sum game as it depends on the person and their conditions. Reality is that medical professionals work hard and are not perfect but they are doing what they can for their patients. Be kind to your nurse and doctor!

I tried to conf-call with the insurance company and the billing department and all I got from the Providence call representative was a terrible attitude as if the fact that they wrongly charged me was ok and she would not give the expected time line of when the issue will be resolved until the insurance representative asks her again. My recommendation is to NOT pay the fees on site and have them send the bills because I had multiple occasions where they did not bill correctly. MyChart system is great where you get to communicate with the nurse practitioner or the doctor regarding your visits or results over the website.

I called a few times to see if there was anyone there and finally someone answered at 9:17. I asked what time they opened and she replied, "8:30." I told her kindly, "I was there at 8:30 and no one was there." She didn't even offer an apology or explanation. She just said, "Yeah, we open at 8:30." So what time do they open, I guess whenever they want?! Maybe hire health professionals that take care of their patients, regardless if it's answering the phone or opening on time. Not cool and very unprofessional!
