I had a great experience here. My husband and I took a private driver to the mall on a Thursday in early July. We got there at 9:45, and I went and waited in line at Gucci. The mall's website allows you to make appointments with various brands that allow appointments. Do this if you can. I made appointments for Gucci, Celine, Saint Laurent, and a few others, but because we were there so early in the day, the appointments weren't needed. The mall is all outdoor, so be prepared if it's a hot or cold day. Be sure to stop at the welcome center. I forget all of the perks, but something we used was the bag service. They will hold your shopping bags for you. We purchase items at Gucci, Fendi, Burberry, and Zegna. A nice perk for non-EU tourists is the Tax Free Lounge. You can go there and get your refund! You still need to finalize everything at the airport, but having the lounge on site is perfect. We were there from 9:45 to 1:00. It started picking up around this time, so we were able to exit before it got too busy.

Terrible! If you have multiple days in Italy and are able to visit Milan, strongly recommend Serravalle Outlets over this mess. First, they don't have clearly indicated signage for the buses going back to Florence, so it is so easy to miss the bus out. Very inconvenient for folks trying to get back to the city! Second, the sales associates seem to know there is a lot of dumb money that comes and shops here so they are unwilling to work on price whatsoever. I was at Zegna and they had a nice sweater that was unfortunately noticeably damaged in the chest area. They refused to apply even an additional 10% discount which would have been standard practice at most other stores of similar caliber. (Either that or they would discard the item completely from sale). We visited Zegna, Loro Piana and Kiton and there were a bunch of these kinds of sales associates who couldn't recognize how a little more would help them close a deal. You are not getting a good deal here so don't waste your time. At Serravalle, on the other hand, the sales associates are incredibly helpful and for example at Kiton they offer 50% off the price which is already 50% off regular retail. They offer that discount to you without asking, and let you try on all the sweaters until you find the one you like. So Kiton in The Mall Firenze has a long way to go to catch up to its sister Kiton store in Serravalle! (The Serravalle Kiton is also run by an awesome guy who happens to be a professional boxer as well -- go check him out!)

How can they even call this a mall?! lol it is better than I could have imagined and nothing like our US malls. We took a bus to this shopping plaza with hopes of getting something special from Gucci while in Florence. You drive through the beautiful rolling hills of Tuscany and then boom - shopping center! We hopped off the bus and used the restrooms right away. They were clean! We didn't realize there would be lines for each of the high - end stores and didn't account for how much time we would need here. We started in Dolce & Gabbana then waited in a long line for Gucci. After finding exactly what we were looking for (a beautiful duffle bag and belt), we went to lunch at their cute restaurant Tosca & Nino. We did some more shopping and discovered Italian stores that we hadn't otherwise heard of. I am very happy with my bag I purchased at Furla too. The employees at each of the stores were above and beyond friendly. The best part of this mall experience is that they have a VAT refund center. You give them your paperwork and they literally hand you cash so you don't have to pay tax. This saved me about $200! They explain exactly where to go at the airport and who to give the forms to. It was easier than expected because I was nervous about the whole situation. We got on the bus after the VAT refund office and were on our way with our purchases! Super fun little day trip in a beautiful part of the countryside.

The Mall is about 1.25 hours from Florence. Our hotel assisted in arranging a private driver for is from Florence to The Mall to the Livorno port for 600 euro for 4 pax for 6.5 hours time. Our driver Luigi was great, prompt, drove a Mercedes Van, air conditioned. Stores: Gucci ( the best prices!), Prada, Burberry ( good prices), Valentino, Saint Laurent, Tos's, Ferragamo, Fendi, Hugo Boss, Armani, Zegna, Tom Ford.....great labels if you are into that.If you want to go to Gucci, I suggest queuing up at 9:44 am - the lines get very long and go to the shoes first! Prada wasn't a great deal - or was maybe 10-15% off the retail price.

If you are a designer label junkie and love Italian brands, this place is a must-stop. A brand new PRADA outlet has opened here (so you don't have to also go to the Space outlet) and it is phenomenal. The Prada store is, in my opinion, worth the trip. The deals are amazing (there's even a shoe clearance section where you can shop by price -- some of the shoes started at 50 Euros per pair) and there is a great selection of gorgeous Prada and Miu Miu handbags. Let's be clear -- this is NOT an outlet mall for normal American outlet shoppers. These are designer labels with designer prices. Expect things like a $10,000 Armani suit marked down 40%. That's still a lot of money, but worth it if you love designer duds. I'm a Balenciaga freak and I was very disappointed in their outlet. There was nothing from the popular motorcycle line, just pretty ugly bags that failed to sell at their major retail stores (and for good reason). It seemed like at most of the stores you'd make out like a bandit if you wore between a size 12 - 14 women's in the U.S. and larger shoe sizes (both men and women) as well. I saw lots of cute shoes for women in U.S. size 10 and 11, but not much in the more popular sizes (7, 8, 9, 10). And men, make sure you try on EVERYTHING because European sizes run much, much smaller. Even if it's marked an XXL, it will probably fit like a US size Large. A great day trip from Florence. Lots of free parking and a nice snack bar on site.

I had an excellent shopping experience at this outlet location. Brands are ranging from high-end like Gucci , YSL, Prada, Burberry, Givenchy to more affordable brands like Michael Kors, Coach and more. Be prepared to spend 5 to 10 minutes in line to get inside each brand's store and at the checkout. Weekends tend to be busier then weekdays.

Have extra time - go to say you did. However, if you're from the US and enjoy our style of gaining a great bargain at upscale outlets, then you're going to be disappointed . I did feel like I lucked up at Ferragamo, but I've read all of the other reviews and had a plan. See my Ferragamo review for more details. The Tod's loafers are cheaper in the states by $75 and you can buy them new online. Prada - well I tried , but wasn't impressed. However, if this is your designer vice , they do have a large store. Skip the large long line of people and Aim for other sights first. The line for Prada was gone within an hour of opening at 10am. They all moved to Gucci afterwards , where the line remained, but seemed to be moving at a steady pace. I did follow the reviews well and went to the back of the Gucci building to enjoy a pistachio custard treat and cappuccino on the rooftop cafe. It really was nice and relaxing. Do your homework before you go, bc the Wifi doesn't work well, nor did my ATT foreign cell plan that I signed up prior. If you know approximately how much your items cost and the euro exchange , your can cap your time here in 2 hours and get to Tuscany for some real culture !! In bocca al lupo!!!

I actually made an appointment for 10 am, but it wasn't needed. I was the 6th person in line at 9:50. The line got longer as the day progressed. The associates said they have longer lines after 12:00 pm. 2. You aren't assigned a sales associate like they do in America. I went straight to women's shoes. I asked for shoes in my size and they pulled them out from the wall in front of you! Awesome! No waiting. The sales associates are assigned to areas, so when I asked the gentleman who pulled two pairs for shoes to help me in kids, he told me someone else would assist me there. 3. When you say you want an item, they give you a ticket. Then, they take the items and move them to the checkout out line for you. Wonderful. You don't have to carry ANYTHING. As you gain more items, they scan your ticket and keep stockpiling things for you! 4. I had little hopes of the items being better priced. Gucci Outlet in Spain was very underwhelming. However, I found some green Marmont heels that never made it to the outlets in the US. They were marked down to about $480 in the department stores, and I found them at the Gucci Outlet in Italy for under 380€. I also found another shoe that sold out in the US in my size, but it was available here for cheaper! 5. Something they had no problem doing (but the sales associates in the US hate doing) was just searching available items in a specific size. 6. They do have a kids section, but it's not very big. Overall, I had a good experience. I bought one purse and two pairs of shoes.

The service, selections and value of item were great. Next time I'm in Italy I will return.read more
