He had the best price and moved his scheduled around to accommodate my current needs (house selling, inspections, etc) He was there early and had finished by the time he was actually supposed to be there. It was a simple outlet issue and instead of charging for the outlet, he showed me that the outlet was good just needed to be rewired. He really could have ran the price up but chose to be genuine and when you have someone like that (much like a good barber or mechanic) you don't go elsewhere and you go out of your way to tell people about them. I had one of their electricians out to give me an estimate for the replacement of some lighting fixtures and to rewire their switching. All of the materials needed were already onsite minus the cost of some wire and a couple of inexpensive light switches. The price quoted was between 1600.00 & 1700.00. When I asked him how long he anticipated such a job might take, he said between two and four hours. I suspect that his high end timeline was probably an overestimate, but even at four hours, that worked out to over 400.00/hr. At two hours, it was twice that. I asked how an electrician could justify that fee and was told he didn't set the fees. I told him I totally understood, paid the service charge and sent him on his was.

He gave me the choice of waiting for Monday to do the repairs, or pay the additional emergency charge and have them come out right away. I opted for the right away and was glad I did. Tony plus two others arrived around 4PM and by 7PM everything was replaced and back to normal. OMG, these guys are the best! We had a problem with GFIs where the breaker seemed good but the…read morethe GFI and just some of the downstream outlets and GFIs were dead. For me it was a real head scratcher. Rick and Tony came out the next day and arrived ontime at 830 am. Within an hour they diagnosed and fixed the problem which was faulty wiring of the GFI. I told them they did not have to but they insisted on repeatedly putting on booties when coming into the house. They have a $200 fee for coming out that covers repairs if they do not need to install expensive equipment. I think that is very reasonable in today's world. Rick, who lead the team, strikes me as being honest as the day is long. It is so good to find intelligent, honest, and competitant craftsmen to fix stuff when it needs.
