We had several concern after our first encounters with The Maids, but I must say when my concerns were voiced and recognized, they immediately took action to address them. Is company is 100% focused on customer satisfaction. The two ladies that cleaned our home the last time were outstanding. The home was spotless. I don't really know how 2 individuals accomplishments what the did in the time they did it. Needed for good cleaning of rental house I'm leaving. First issue was wanting to change appt times twice and then calling to just say they were coming in the morning vs after lunch time. Though dirty, house is small (4 rooms) and felt like need to extend time and cost halfway through cleaning, with three then four people working seemed excessive. I opted to cut kitchen out of the cleaning as they had reached my budget limits. Women who came to clean were professional and friendly and what was finished was cleaned well. I've been using The Maids for about 5 months. Best thing I've ever done. I'm disabled and work full time. House work like cleaning floors and dusting wasn't getting done and that's depressing. It makes my heart happy and my health better when I come home after The Maids have been to my home. They are so sweet and courteous! They do an excellent job! I contacted the maids to do a complete cleaning of my son's empty apartment that was an efficiency size living space with zero carpet. I was charged 270$. We were moving him back to Texas after graduating from UAB. I told the lady on the phone that it would be empty but would be a move out clean. Should include the refrigerator right??? The management called me from the apartment he moved out of and very kindly let me know (since the receipt was left in apartment) what a poor job they did for what I was charged. She let me know they cleaned everything but not the refrigerator. I immediately called and the rather unfriendly girl in the office at the Maids informed me the fridge would have been 40$ extra. Laughable!!! I told her I would like to speak with the owner (who never called) to explain that a partial refund would be expected and that I was clear about my expectations when I booked their services. Why would you clean an oven and stove top but a refrigerator is EXTRA? I had no problems paying the amount before I received the phone call from the apartment manager. Shame on you for taking advantage of a situation where you know the client has moved to another state. I had even asked for pictures but was never sent them of the apartment after they cleaned it. We hired the Maids to clean my dad's house because we were listing it for sale and I don't have the time to do it. They didn't dust the furniture, mop the bathroom floor, cleaned only one shower door, etc. They sent a double team out the next day to get it done proper and after several hours, they got it done. I gave them a second chance and said they could come back in two weeks. Well, I just fired them again. The bathroom floor was not swept, whatever they used on the hardwood floor is burning my tongue, and there are shoe tracks through it. I think they used a mop and glo type of product, which I had been fairly firm about them not using. You tell the person on the phone or email something and it does not seem to get passed down. This is a waste of money. I could get better service hiring a couple of teenagers and for a lot less money. read more
