The staff are friendly and helpful. The food however is far from gourmet. The sunday roast was decent enough but not spectacular. The wine list is limited. There is a kiddies menu that just about ticks the box. Deserts were very standard on choice and clearly microwaved which in this day and age is unacceptable. I would not go out of my way to eat there again but if I was passing and had the time and inclination would have a drink. It's a reasonable and comfortable pub.

Unfortunately there was no pasta (my favourite) on the menu, although there was one dish on the Specials board -- and it was delicious! I plan to return and hope it doesn't subsequently disappoint.
