The Magic Cavern is easy to miss as it's situated below the Curtains Up pub. This does, however, make it a fantastic meeting place for food and a few drinks either side of the show. The cavern itself is absolutely tiny, holding what looked to be about 50 people. The stage is also miniscule so that those in the front row almost form a part of the show. At the show that I saw, the magician included practically everyone in the audience and that's probably normal since it's such an intimate venue. But then, participation seems a small price to pay for some enthralling, up close illusions. read more
