When walking into this hidden gem in Michigan, you're immediately hit by the overwhelming smell of fresh brownies and chocolate. This woman owned shop specializes in custom cakes, phenomenal brownies, and rotating custom desserts. There were three woman working there, all which were Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. They let me sample the brownies & gave me recommendations of their favorites. Everything was extremely reasonably priced. I got 6 brownies, a tiramisu and a slice of cheesecake for $35. There is a small area to sit and hangout but the location is primarily take-away. They also have a trinket station where you can give and take trinkets which I think is awesome! Overall really a phenomenal place. If you're looking for custom cakes, they do INCREDIBLE butter cream work. The detail is amazing. As someone who's worked at a bakery, what they're doing is incredibly impressive. Support your small businesses!!! read more

When is this place while we were in Oxford, looking for dessert we ended up getting the magic brownie the tiramisu and a cannoli cup everything was very good. Seems to be homemade high-quality. The brownie took the show. Very dense thing had away at least 4 oz's but with some milk soooo gooooodddd read more

The brownies at the Magic Brownie Box are indeed very magical and very cute. I bought the vanilla (white chocolate), milk chocolate and dark chocolate covered brownies. My absolute favorite is the white chocolate covered brownie. It's like a reverse Oreo that melts in your mouth. Seriously dangerous. The brownie is so moist and so chocolatey and the white chocolate really brings out the chocolate in the brownie. Honestly, all of them complimented the brownie nicely. Everyone loved all flavors. The Magic Brownie Box has other items like cupcakes, beautifully decorated cakes and other fabulous looking items. I will try different things next time but I am not leaving without vanilla covered brownies. read more

There are so many goodies it was hard to decide what to get. Definitely get the magic brownie, it was the best brownie I've ever had.

I love this place and I love Heather!! I called a couple days ago to get special vegan cupcakes for my son's bday party with a very strict list of allergens. Heather was so patient, so thorough and even called me back to make sure every ingredient was ok. She was such a delight to work with and these cupcakes are gorgeous and delicious!! Everyone at the party absolutely loved them!! God bless you Heather! My cupcake angel! She saved the party and saved mama time! We will definitely be ordering again!!! read more

We had the best experience at The Magic Brownie Box here in Oxford. All the treats were fantastic. We also got to try some free samples that were so good that it was an out-of-body experience. The customer service was outstanding! Will definitely be back 100%! read more

We get these tasty treats at work so I have had them a few times. They have always been very fresh and very delicious. I love that they are bite sized, or more like a three bite size treat, not to big that you cannot finish it. Big enough to feel satisfied. Their crispy treats are well made. I am a crispy treat fan, so they are pretty good. They do not taste like the prepackages sort that gets that artificial preservative flavor, these are good treats. Their chocolate covered marshmallows are wonderful. I like the chocolate they use, and they marshmallows have always tasted soft, fluffy, and fresh. The chocolate dipped Oreo's are yummy. I had the brownie for the first time yesterday. It was pretty good. The brownie was thick and fudgy with big chocolate chips. After going online, it looks like they have some other treats I have not yet tried like their snowball which looks really good. read more

The Magic Brownie Box came through in a pinch for my son's birthday party. We had planned to buy cupcakes from a chain grocery store and when I went to order them, they were out of chocolate cake batter. Being that was a special request from the birthday boy, I had to search last minute. The Magic Brownie Box came through with a same day order of 18 cupcakes split between vanilla and chocolate cake. They even custom colored the frosting to match his theme. This was much more than I expected with a same day order. The cupcakes were fresh and they tasted great! read more

We ordered the desserts for our daughter's graduation party. Everything was excellent. The cake was delicious as well as the mini cupcakes and the treat tray. We will definitely order from here again. Thanks for helping make our party awesome. read more

If you have a sweet tooth THIS is your place! It is locally owned and the owner herself makes EVERYTHING in house! Everything we tried was phenomenal! Highly recommended if you are in the Oxford area! read more

This is the best bakery I have used for specialty petsonalized cakes bar none. Last year they constructed an artist cake for my 10 year old granddaughter and this year it was a hedgehog. You are creative, innovative, customer focused and . . . the cake is moist and flavorful. Keep doing what you do so well. You brought sheer joy to our grand daughters. The closest to a negative thing I can think of is I wish they had more locations and closer to me cause their deserts are AMAZING and I would Love to make more purchases from here. I got 2 items. First was a cheesecake on a stick dipped in chocolate reminded me of an ice cream dessert in appearance but tasted even better when eaten. Second was some peanut butter thing in a edible cup I don't remember the name but I didn't think it could get better that the first thing but it did. I can't wait till I work in the area again to try more items from here. read more

I was a little disappointed with the $25 bowl. There were three sticks of two marshmallows covered in chocolate. I wish they would have been cake pops instead. The bowl seem a little on the expensive side for what you get. read more

We have ordered birthday cakes from here twice now and have been happy with the cakes. The staff has always been friendly and nice. However, I do have a complaint to make about the pricing. I just ordered a cake for my kids birthday and we were quoted about $60 but were told they would call/email with a final price. We never received any kind of notification and we attempted to call two times prior to pick up but there was no answer. Day of the party I went to pick it up and the cake cost $100! I was expecting it to be between $60-75 not a $100. That is a huge gap between the estimated price and the final price. There was no communication. Since it was hours before the party I just paid and left. However, this is kind of bothering me because a heads up would have been nice. Even though the cake was delicious and cute, it imo it is not a $100 cake. The cake we bought the year before was about $70-ish and was way more detailed. I will continue to buy smaller treats from there but honestly I don't think I would order a birthday cake again. Unfortunately, with the hustle and bustle of the party I failed to get a photo of the whole cake out of box. I had taken these pics to send to my husband. It was an all white frosted cake with sprinkles on the piping and a cute unicorn and Dino on top. We did ask to have one layer chocolate and a second layer vanilla. read more

What an amazing bakery! My boys and I stopped in for our first time yesterday for an after school snack. As soon as we walked in we were in awe of the selection and started drooling at all the wonderful deliciousness everywhere, in our mask of course. A very friendly staff member could tell we were new and were given a quick tour of store. Our trip soon turned into a small shopping trip as we left with enough goodness to last us a week. We will be back! read more

Stopped for a quick look and couldn't resist grabbing something. The staff were great and greeted me as soon as I walked in. The glass case in the front had several of my favorite things which will cause a future problem for me. I decided on a bowl of greatness...not sure what they are called. Was a peanut butter chocolate cup with chocolate cake frosting and a chocolate covered peanut butter cookie. Outstanding dessert and definitely will be back. read more

If you have a sweet tooth this is the spot. Reasonably priced and very tasty oreos and brownies!

I am a huge fan of brownies but the brownie covered/smothered in chocolate is awful. I tried a few other treats in the shop but overall not impressed with any of the items sold. Maybe it is a local acquired taste? read more

This bakery did an amazing job on my son's 1st Communion cake. I also would like to add that they are allergy conscious and made the cake peanut free. They are not a peanut free facility but the fact she made precautions to avoid use of peanuts in the days surrounding means alot to a parent with a child that has a severe peanut allergy. They've even turned away my business before when stopping in for pre-made cake due to having lots of peanut products in the bakery that week. Their cakes are delicious, beautiful, are they are very talented with their creations. They will definitely get my business! Thank you!! read more

My mom ordered some of the big Rice crispies and they were SO expensive and DISGUSTING. I'm not trying to be rude but how do you mess us a rice crispy treat? Do you ever remember going to the church cookie exchanges with all those nasty cookies? I always filled my box with rice crispies because you just can't screw those up! They are even delicious vegan! But somehow someway you guys really failed on the crispies and so I am just not confident trying anything else...especially for price tag. I had really high hopes! Maybe in day someone will gift me something amazing from there and I can change my review. I see all the amazing reviews but it's probably like the Pinterest 5* reviews on all my flops...people just don't know what good food tastes like. read more

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! We have been here on multiple occasions, and have virtually tried everything. Everything was delicious, and highly recommend trying everything. The Magic Brownies are AMAZING! We will be coming back again and again read more

We ordered a mini brownie bowl for a birthday party. I hadn't ordered or been in to the location prior, despite passing through Oxford many times. They were excellent. Well packaged, a good size and delicious. Equally enjoyed by kids and adults. I think the brownies were preferred over the birthday cake. The person who took my order and handled the pickup was professional and friendly. I can't ask for anything more especially when hosting a party. Thank you for the brownies and a good experience; I'll definitely be ordering again. read more

OMG! The brownies are too good to serve to the public! They were moist, fudgie, completely covered with chocolate & decadent. Best brownies ever. And I know my brownies. Can't wait to go back and try many other treats. Staff and owners are so friendly.

This is not a bakery like it's advertised...it's more of a sweet shop. When I think of a bakery I think of breads/cakes/pies and not necessarily pudding cups with overly sweet mousse on top. At least...I think that's what I ate? I was not impressed. It's overpriced sugar. read more
