George returned a while later and asked for access to my attic. I told him there was no way that access to my attic would be provided. Due to all of the items in my garage in the way of the access point. Then George and his associate got on my roof, looked around, and came down and asked to come inside to talk about the roof. They came inside and said there was no hail damage, but I had normal wear and tear and that if I made a claim it would most likely not be covered. That was the first time I expressed that I was not going to make a claim on my roof. I didn't want to run the risk of my rates rising and possibly being dropped from my insurance. George's associate was the one who told me that all of that could be a possibility. I said you might as well call it good and go ahead and leave. George did not take the hint, my roof went from normal wear and tear, to very bad condition, to very, very bad condition and possible foundation damage if I didn't get id done soon. I was as nice as I could be 2 more times before I told him he was starting to piss me off. I told him I had recently, 6 months ago, become a widow, and I was still trying to get things back in order, and I wasn't going to spend any money out of pocket for a new roof. George then proceeded to tell me they could finance the roof and I could make monthly payments, but he was going to do a soft credit pull. That's when I had had enough. I told his associate that he was nice enough, but asked him to tell George to shut up and get out of my house. George tried to speak again, I stood up and told him to get out of my house. The audacity of this young man was baffling to me. George needs to be reminded of what goid business practices are. Because now, I will make sure to tell everyone I know to not use Quantum Roofing.

We followed their recommendation, worked with a plumber, and then had DLV make some other small fixes they'd recommended. When they came out for the repairs, they went above and beyond by painting the white pipe the plumber put in to make it blend with the roof more. They didn't charge extra for that, they just took the initiative. Also had a great experience with the scheduling staff. Katherine was even able to coordinate with us to have the team come sooner when there was a cancellation.

The first crew turns out to be subcontracted (even though DLV's salesman emphatically stated they don't subcontract), it was this crew who refused to install the hip shingles because the color clashed so badly. After waiting six weeks for the correct hip shingles to arrive through the hail and storms of April they then send a second subcontracted crew. Of course the second crew neglects to trim back the material at the ridge vents creating complete blockage, I bring this to DLV's attention and they argue with me, I say I'm bringing in an engineer, and they say let's have a certainteed inspector look at it for my 5-star warranty, of course the inspector sides with me. During visit went from fascia/soffit, gutter repair to adding a small section of roof repair. After consultation with his "Operation Head" we went to FULL roof replacement, gutters, soffit/fascia and a $18,000 dollar price tag. I inquired if we could just do the immediate repairs of fascia/soffit and gutters. Again after speaking to the "Operation Head" we were told no. We either had to do it all or nothing from this company. So advertisement of them doing REPAIR is false they will say the cant guarantee their work unless they do everything. So if you call them be prepared to be bamboozled and expect a crazy high price.

Henry Bradford arrived on time and examined the leaf guard and concluded it was in good condition and didn't need fixing. My husband found 14 things that weren't done right. Took pictures of them all. Including, but not limited to, roofing nails not all the way in, roofing boots not sealed correctly, drip edge damaged, and flashing not replaced around chimney. Shotty work. -No pride in work, they just tried to get it done, and get out. -The owners of the company seemed like they didn't really know their workers.
