After a quick online search we decided to go to Atlas Collective. Overall it was a nice bookstore. The inside was welcoming and there were a fair number of people sitting around drinking coffee and browsing books. My wife and cousins all got drinks and generally liked them. My kids founds a couple books that they liked and ended up getting one. I liked the vibe, and overall was happy with the visit. The only downside of the shop is that it is relatively small. They have an okay selection, but you are going to be limited in your choices. If your tastes align with the selection on hand you will be fine, but you could end up leaving empty handed.

The staff was gracious, the drinks were fantastic (I had the Artemis!), and the selection was diverse. There's also comfortable seating inside and coasters for your drinks so that you don't have to worry about ruining the awesome furniture. I will definitely be visiting again!

The shop itself (divided between two buildings) is much smaller in person than it appears on TV. There's a lot more Antique Archaeology swag for sale than actual antiques... The staff we encountered were just regular run of the mill retail workers...none the TV personalities. Not that I really expected to run into Mike. Lol For me the best part of the visit was a photo op with the old car out front branded with the business logo (a dilapidated 1950-1951 Nash Statesman Super). And with the motorcycles and other larger antiques on display... LeClaire, situated along the Mississippi River, is a nice little area in and of itself... There are MANY other shops, antique stores, restaurants, and attractions in LeClaire to check while you're there! Along with LeClaire... Clinton, Muscatine, and the Quad Cities aren't far and it's an easy trip to visit aspects of them in a single day or in an overnight trip. Everywhere I looked, there was something new, something unexpected. The shop owner Airyn was a delight and so welcoming.
