Anyway the service was spectacular! I walked in and was immediately greeted by the woman working there with a warm smile and inquiring what I was looking for. I told her I'd like a small table bouquet that has a sunflower or 2, and a rose. She went in the cooler and came out with a gorgeous arrangement that i immediately fell in love with. It really made my day and I love looking at them on my table. Definitely a great addition to my decor. I will definitely go back for any floral needs in the future.

I am so glad that we went into this florist I had used another one when other members of the family had passed away and I wasn't happy so I said let me try the one the funeral home had mentioned. Our expectations were surpassed the owner came in after he had left for the day so that we could pick out what we wanted. The arrangements were so beautiful, everyone noticed and we also noticed the time and care that was taken while putting this together for us. We called the day after as we wanted to thank them and also put flowers and a teddy bear at her crash site. We went in the purple roses her favorite color were in a base beautifully done and the owner had even spray painted the white ones at the top with a little purple and gems inside. The bear which he gave us for a really good price was huge and he heard my husband and I talking about buying a chair to put the bear on so he said he had a rocking chair in wood very beautiful he would let us have for $20 when we know the chair goes for way more. To top everything off he gave us another bear an angel flower base with purple flowers which he told us to put at the crash site from him and his wife. We were so touched by this act of kindness that we could never thank them enough. The bear and all the funeral flowers went to her crash site as she is getting cremated but it looks beautiful thanks to Blossom's.

From the moment I spoke with Chris, I knew he was going to be the floral designer for my daughter's wedding. He returned calls, answered emails, and never left me feeling that he was in it for only my money. Out of 5 other vendors that I reached out to, Chris was the only one that checked off all of the boxes. Every other vendor I spoke with mentioned their minimum price, right off the bat, not Chris, he wanted to know what the vibe was, what flower we liked, and what we thought we wanted to spend. I thought he and his team would do great work, but he did so much more - he made the venue look magical. As my daughter and my new son-in-law knelt at the altar, I could not help but notice how beautiful the flowers he provided in the chapel were. When we made it back to the venue, I was blown away - Chris and his team made the venue look like it was straight out of a fairytale book. It is now 5 days after the wedding, and I have several arrangements that I took home, and they still look perfect. The flowers still look fresh enough to use for another wedding. The staff was very straightforward but I guess she knew what she was doing. The shop is small and has many different arrangements examples and a room with fresh flowers lined up~ I could peek the back, and there was rolls of flower paper and ribbon all organized~ I would come back here for another last minute gift~ online, they share more about how this is small owned and been operating for many years~ well known in the neighborhood too. I just wanted something more special and customized versus a typical stop&shop flowers that can be easily over priced.

I visited Gilmore's Flower shop in East Providence RI over the weekend and I left so very…read moredisappointed. Let me say that I do understand it was the day before Mother's Day but there was only 2 other customers in the store when I was there. An employee came over and asked if we had been helped yet. We told her "no, we are waiting for assistance " she went to the back and came out with another woman who asked what we needed. I told her we were there to order a bridal bouquet. The second woman told me " I don't have anyone who can talk to you, you will have to come back another day". I have never felt so unvalued as a customer from a business as I did that day. No one could take 10 minutes to ask what exactly I needed. (I know it was 10 minutes because I timed the visit to a different florist who took the time to speak to me and it took 10 minutes to choose the flowers I liked and to pay her for them.) So my experience at Gilmore's was not good in any way that day. I specifically chose Gilmore's because I want to support local businesses as much as I can, but it seemed like while they were important to me, my business was not important enough to take a few minutes to talk to me.
