Excellent food and they made a special request for my 6 year old. Very friendly and definitely worth frequenting if you are in the area.

    Coconut donut. Yum!

Great bakery with donuts, breakfast sandwiches, etc. We did wait along time for our breakfast at 9:30 on a Saturday, so be ready to hang out a while.Grab some coffee and enjoy. Sandwich was worth the wait.

Great place to stop in the area. Small seating but worth the wait. The sandwiches are awesome. They know their cheese! We got the AM BLT on rye and an everything bagel with egg, ham and cheese. Highly recommend and get here early for the donut selection.

Best breakfast In 1000 miles! Get the Totally mad sandwich with jalapeño cream cheese, it's a lot of food but I finish it every time! Amazing customer service!

Every breakfast and lunch sandwich is better with fresh bread and donuts baked everyday! The gourmet Italian coffee adds another few points to the overall goodness of this little bakery. It's difficult to not enjoy a visit to this place when the owners and staff welcome customers w/great service and perfect smiles.

Buy 5 doughnuts, get 1 free! And they taste amazing!

Small bakery in Dushore, PA featuring homemade doughnuts, breakfast sandwiches, flavored iced coffees, and smoothies. What a wonderful place run by the nicest women! Everything is fresh and tastes excellent! The breakfast sandwiches are made on bagels with thick, crispy bacon (or ham or sausage), egg, and cheese. At least 20 different varieties of doughnuts that were made early that morning. Be prepared for the nicest people working there and lots of decisions to make!

    PB fix

I come to Dushore to vacation with my extended family, and stopping here has become an annual tradition. I'm really just rating the donuts, since that's all we get. Great texture and dough; that's probably the strength of these donuts. The PB fix is my favorite (PB cream filling, chocolate icing with Reese's chunks on top), though the peanut butter cream filling could be sweeter. Nothing too crazy on the flavors front, though they did have a cotton candy and chocolate with cayenne pepper when we were there, which are cool ideas, just not ones I'm into. Pretty solid cake donuts, though I think their yeast are better. Great spot in this area!

Amazing donuts, bagels, sandwiches, coffee, and smoothies.

I am a chef and generally do not complain too much about food or service unless it is glaringly…read moreobvious that it is bad. Such was the case when I visited the newly opened Curry Donuts in the 220 shopping plaza. I realize that it is new and am writing this in hopes of having a better experience in the future. The order was simple: A dozen doughnuts and a small coffee. I have eaten at several other Curry Donuts' in the past and was always satisfied with both service and quality of food. Lets start with the Donuts. It is a small town donut shop, but the selection was poor at best. The selection that existed lacked the staples that I expect to see in any run of the mill doughnut joint. Glazed. Cream filled. Bavarian Cream. Chocolate dipped. Not to mention old favorites that keep me going back to Curry Donuts like Apple Fritters and Boston Crème. There was not a Krueller to be seen. So we pieced together a dozen of what was available. A couple chocolate cake doughnuts, Strawberry and Blueberry filled and some other miscellaneous pastries to be on our way. All that was left was the coffee. In my opinion a Curry Donut Coffee surpasses even famed rivals Dunkin' Donuts' ever popular dark brew. I took a sip. Ice Cold and Old. That ruined it for me before ever getting a pastry anywhere near my mouth. When I got home I found scrawny, missha pen Doughnuts. Most were dry and stale. A "Cinnamon Swirl" that tasted like it was made without sugar with ablolutely NO glaze on it. The usual Elliptical, pillowy concoctions I am used to were replaced by spherical (no kidding, some of them were actually shaped like baseballs!). I feel that pretty much sums up my experience. The service was barely attentive and disinterested, but not "bad" per se. I hope that my next visit brings a more pleasurable experience, as I look forward to getting a good, quality cup of Joe and a couple of my favorite doughnuts in the morning, rather than gas station fare.

Fortunately I was in a group and we were able to split a half dozen donuts so that we could try a few different flavors. My favorite was the canoli and the Nutella maple. The flavors rotate and I believe they have a few staple flavors that are offered all the time. I did not try out a drink but a few people in my group said their iced drinks were good.

Donerds Donuts is a locally owned small business that's well worth a stop when you're visiting Jim Thorpe. I learned that the owners met in Chile, where they were inspired to start a donut and coffee food truck. They sold their handcrafted donuts from a vintage VW bus on the streets of Santiago before eventually bringing their passion to Pennsylvania. Today, they have two locations, and I had the pleasure of visiting the Jim Thorpe shop. The storefront is charming, welcoming, and has a few seats where you can relax and enjoy your treats with a fresh cup of coffee. Best of all, everything is made fresh on-site. Their display case is filled with an impressive selection of classic and specialty donuts, along with colorful macarons, French toast cinnamon rolls, flaky croissants, and a full lineup of coffee drinks ranging from lattes to iced coffees. Honestly...wow! Deciding what to order wasn't easy. Since it was already midday, I kept it simple and went with a Boston Cream donut. It was incredibly fresh, light, and filled with rich, creamy custard, then topped with a smooth layer of chocolate. Absolutely delicious! A special shout-out to Sarah, who made the visit even better. She was warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful, taking the time to explain the different donuts and macarons. Everything she described sounded amazing, and she definitely had my mouth watering. I had to show some self-control or I would've walked out with half the display case! She was fantastic. If you're spending the day in Jim Thorpe, do yourself a favor and make a stop at Donerds Donuts. Grab a coffee, treat yourself to one (or a few) fresh donuts, say hello to Sarah, and support a wonderful local business. I know I'll be back the next time I'm in town.
