Driving past I saw a castle on our way up north. On our way back home, I needed a coffee and the best option was a castle. Because sometimes even I am a princess. So anyway, I park and run out of the car (as quick as I can considering it's 8am and I haven't had a coffee yet but had been driving for about an hour). Rush in and notice they have a lot of nuts. Everywhere. But I see the coffee counter shining at me like a beacon in the night and zoom in to order. They make a surprisingly great coffee. The muffs were just as yummy. Macadamia and chocolate. What a mix! And they had hats for sale. So I could gleefully try them all on. But this isn't about my minor hat fetish. Definiately worth a visit. Apparently they do rad things like mini-golf and parties too. If you ever want to drive the 8 hours! read more

If you are looking for a nice place to stop with the family after driving down the long highway, this is the place to go. It has a very nice overpriced petting zoo but a nice place to stretch out and relax with the family. Our problem was not with the petting zoo, the variety of macadamia nuts or the little trinket shop. It was with the food, we had stopped to get something to eat and it was by far the worst experience I have had in Australia with food. After handing us a sloppy milkshake which was considered "ice coffee" which we found out later contained nuts which made my partner very ill. We were given by far the worst salad I had ever tasted, it was sloppy, warm and contained two large strands of hair. The best part was the sour beat root in between a crusty piece of bread. After, politely spitting out our food we left. Our suggestion? to avoid sour stomachs and save you 38 bucks? Bring your own food to the castle and you will have a great day. read more

Great ambience outdoors for eating. Overlooking the farm animals and some charming chooks and turkeys joined us for entertainment and to nibble on our leftover chips. Awesome for the kiddies with a little play area where we ate. We all got burgers and macadamia nuts were mixed right into them giving it a lovely flavor. I had the chicken burger and it was perfectly done on crusty Turkish bread with fresh salad and beetroot. Highly recommended and compliments to the Chef. We didn't go into the park part, just enjoyed the cafe. read more
