My stylist was very friendly, I had full head foils and cut and blowdry and i love the results, all for £60 which is very reasonable. I would reccommend this salon (wear a warm jumper in winter though as they dont have central heating but they keep the cups of tea flowing!)

Since, like some sort of modern-day goldilocks I have tried several different salons based in Cardiff. Yet none quite come close to La Zarou Bros. The same salon my Mum has been visiting for over 20 years - it's where you'll find me EVERY Thursday after work. They have a few salons in the city centre yet my favourite is in Churchill Way. It's somewhat like those American style barber shops - but the female version. The staff aren't just friends they're family. They know you by name and remember conversations they've had with you from months ago. No typical 'off on holiday' or 'we're having nice weather' talks will take place here. What's more despite having long hair I'm not having to worry that my card will decline at the point of payment. My blow-wave (wash, blow-dry into loose curls) costs less than £20 and it's a given that I leave every week feeling as though I should whip my hair back and forth - or at least whisper "because I'm worth it". Note: All the staff here are super talented and most have 'done' my hair at least once yet my all time favourite person here is Alex - not only do I trust him with my daily drama and gossip but I also let him near me with scissors!

Spending that much time talking to someone that I don't know about things that I'm pretty sure they don't care about?... But I found my hairdresser (who also washed my hair) to be very friendly. Whilst he was actually cutting my hair, he asked me what I was doing that weekend. Replying that I was going to the cinema, but didn't knwo what I was going to see, the hairdresser next to me joined in the conversation. To note,…read moreI've never had my hair coloured before and was really looking for something different and trusted Guy Christian after reading many good things about them online. ~ Customer Service: The girls here were very lovely and professional. The woman at reception was so friendly, immediately offering to take my coat for me. I was seen to straight away, even though I was a tad bit early for my appointment and all the employees were very attentive throughout. One thing I liked is that since sometimes I'm not a particularly talkative person, they're friendly without necessarily forcing conversation on you. Basically, it really seemed like there was a lot of effort put into making me feel as comfortable as possible. They even offer you complimentary drinks (including wine, beer, and some non-alcoholic drinks too of course). ~ Results: In general, I'm really happy with the styling done! My colour is fantastic and I love it. The prices are fair for what you pay for as well, it's not cheap but it's still affordable. My only concern is that when I was getting my hair curled with a curling brush and hairdryer, my hair ended up absolutely damaged and dry. Normally, my hair is really silky and healthy so this was pretty distressing for me. Hopefully some conditioner at home can fix it, though! --- I'm really happy with my experience here and would definitely come back in the future. A solid 4 stars from me!
