The next vet visit cost $75, and within one appointment they identified the actual issue as being related to his colon--not his back--and recommended a simple daily probiotic. His symptoms completely disappeared. So to be clear: $800 got me a misdiagnosis and no resolution, while $75 got me an accurate diagnosis and a fix. It's hard not to feel taken advantage of. Whether this was due to carelessness or a lack of thoroughness, the result is the same--I paid a premium price for the wrong answer. I would strongly advise anyone coming here to question everything and seriously consider a second opinion before agreeing to expensive services.

They are one of the only providers in the area offering medical grooming, and it seems they leverage that position to charge excessive fees. Expect your costs to change from visit to visit.
