Food Trucks and a nice place to eat

What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon in Rochester by the railroad tracks at village gate They are all set up for a beautiful warm inside location for winter at the Rochester Armory on Main St 90 plus local shops with tons of merchandise, love the food trucks Will be back soon

What a great addition to the Rochester vintage and art scene. You could easily spend a lazy Sunday morning checking out the booths and all the fabulous fines. A variety of food trucks offer tasty bites. Parking is free and the crowds are fun. Definitely check it out

When The Lucky Flea began last year, I immediately knew it would be worth the drive to Rochester. The first time I went was when I was visiting a friend and I was immediately enamored with the experience as a whole! It consists of a large group of vendors offering a wide range of things -- from handmade art to vintage clothing to unique housewares. Every vendor I've chatted with at the Flea has been so kind, it's a great way to get to know the community. I've been three times and each time I walked away with amazing articles of clothing for more than decent prices. My friend, who goes almost every time it's hosted, has been able to find amazing items both to wear and for her apartment. Each vendor is very curated, so it's not like a typical flea market where you need to really rummage through things to find something good. I'm hoping to make the drive again this summer to visit. The atmosphere of the Lucky Flea is fantastic and it's a fun way to spend a Sunday morning/afternoon. For any out-of-towners: I assure you this is a gathering worth making the drive to Rochester for.

I did enjoy how the market was outside and inside but the quality of stuff they had to offer and…read morethe prices where a little high for me(overpriced). I didn't find much of anything other than a couple little things like a record of Elvis (a gift for my mom-paid $10 for the record) and some kids stuff. I did enjoy the little wine tasting/slushee they had at a booth. They also had a cute train set up for the kids to watch. I was surprised they had a booth with plants and a couple food booths if you get hungry. Sorry I forgot to take a picture!!

On their Facebook page they've been promoting some new vendors inside the building and mentioned…read moresome improvements have been made to the inside. I usually go here a few times during the spring/summer but hadn't gone yet this season so I was excited to see the changes. Unfortunately, it's still kind of a dump. More vendors have rented the inside booths, but most are nowhere near being "antique" dealers as there recent posts made it sound. I saw booths selling Tupperware, leather/biker gear, incense, purses, and a tea/coffee shop. There was one farmer's style stand selling fresh vegetables and plants, I'd love to see more vendors like that. As for the outside stalls, more than half were vacant, and of the vendors that were there it was a mix of overpriced, dirty junk and a few good antiques but mostly still overpriced. I did buy one item, but the vendor didn't accept credit cards or venmo/PayPal (come on, it's 2022, everybody has venmo or square). These are sellers that are there every weekend, it's time to upgrade your technology. I paid the atm fee to take out some cash, but other buyers would have walked away. Several of the outdoor stalls reeked of cigarette smoke, I walked out of two of them for that reason. (Unsurprisingly, one booth owner was wearing a Marlboro jacket.) This place could do a whole lot better if every inside booth was filled (with actual antiques), more farmer's market type of vendors, and was generally less depressing/seedy.
