We picked one we liked ad since it was a simpler design she said she could still do our tattoo that day. That was great since I was visiting and do not live in Saskatoon. He did not rush me in any way and answered all my 100 questions. I felt very comfortable right at the start. To me getting my toddler's ears pierced was a huge decision I had to make. I work in health care, and sterilization is absolutely the MOST important thing to me, so using brand new needles was a huge plus for me. Not only did my little one get to pick out her first pair of earrings she didn't even flinch or blink when she got her ears pierced with a needle, it was done so swiftly. Veronica was very good with her and explained everything that was going to happen. I really loved how Veronica took the time to measure with a RULER to make sure her earrings were perfect, BEFORE she pierced them! I have to say Veronica is VERY good at what she does, so good in fact, just talking to her (I always have wanted to....) so I got my nose pierced and my hubby is getting his tattoo finished with her. I am also planning to have my existing tattoo lightened by her and touched up! :) Bottom line here, super plus for her sterilization education from working in Dentistry and this helps with the way she talks to children. My husband & I were very pleased because all we heard was glowing reviews & we even had a friend refer us to INK ADDICTION, we were even more pleased knowing the artist JODIE (Y or I, not sure how he spells it), who is also the shop OWNER was the one we were booked with to do our tattoo's. On Saturday, we got a call asking if we would be able to come in for 11am on Tuesday, I advised we could not as I was working during the day on Tuesday, the lady assured me that it was ok & said at the end of the call that they would see us at 5:30 on May 10th, 2022. Tattoo day arrives & we get there a roughly 4:45, shop looks quiet, so I suggest we see if they can take us earlier, we go to the door to discover the door is 100% locked, yet shop hours on the door say Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 6pm, thinking maybe they had to step out for a few minutes we let it slide. A young lady gets out of her car & says she also has an appointment for 5pm with the shop owner, it is now shortly after 5pm, we try knocking on the glass as the shop light was on in the back, but got no answer, then another man joins the 3 of us & says he had his appointment for 4pm that day with you guessed it, it's with the shop owner, this man told us that he has had many appointments to get the work done, but that EVERY-TIME the shop owner is a no show & that this had been going on since March of this year. We all paid our deposits in advance, as was required to book the appointments. We all also tried MANY times to call the phone number provided as we waited outside the shop & not one of us got any answer to our many calls. Move forward to today May 12th, 2022, I've tried getting ahold of INK ADDICTION, but NEVER get an answer, as I want our deposit returned, please keep in mind NO ONE from the shop has reached out to us to even so much as say sorry or to try & make things right, at this point what the owner of INK ADDICTION has done to all of us is FRAUD. I do know that if we were to have changed our minds about getting the work done then NO we wouldn't expect our deposit to be refunded, but that is 100% NOT THE CASE & they out right ripped 4 people off of their deposits & NOT AWORD from the shop or the owner. Sadly this looks bad on ALL the artist that work there, which is not fair to them & I wish the best to all the artist working for this scam artist, fraudster that is the owner & I truly hope they all walk away & find good shops to work in as INK ADDICTION is NOT that shop. Closing remarks: you got money to burn INK ADDICTION will take it & laugh in your face for being a fool to the owners game. I sincerely wish ALL the staff under him the best of luck.YOU ALL NEED TO RUN & RUN FAST before your reputation is destroyed because of this man.
